04Getting to the Heathrow campus

AAA's Heathrow campus sits in Seminole County, north of Orlando, which puts every one of Libema's thirteen houses on the same side of the drive: south of the campus, along I-4 or the roads that feed it. WinterPark Home in Lockhart runs the shortest route at about 22 minutes, because Lockhart already sits at the northern edge of the city along US-441. Fruit Tree Home in Holden Heights is about 29 minutes away. Amelia’s Arena Retreat in Parramore, Game Day Getaway-Downtown Orlando in Washington Shores and City and Stadium Sanctuary Vibes, also in Washington Shores, each run about 30. Downtown & Stadium Cozy Retreat is about 31 minutes and Wekiwa Home about 32. Four homes cluster together at about 33 minutes: The Clue House, Meet. Play. Stay., Entertainment Home and Cozy Home. Piedmont, in Washington Shores, has the longest drive on this page at about 35 minutes.

Every figure here is a typical road-routing time without traffic, measured the same way as every other drive time on this site. For most of the thirteen homes the route runs through or past downtown Orlando before picking up I-4 north into Seminole County, so a trip timed against the morning or evening rush can run past these numbers, especially from a house that starts south of the core. A start before the rush or a return after it tracks closest to what is shown here. The stretch of highway several of these drives share is tolled by transponder or by plate, so a SunPass or E-PASS is worth setting up if the Heathrow drive turns into a daily habit.

05Where the homes sit around Heathrow

The map below sets AAA's Heathrow campus at the center and places each of the thirteen homes at its true compass bearing and drive time. Because the campus sits north of the city, every home reads as some shade of south on the map, and the spread comes from how far east or west each cluster sits rather than from north versus south. WinterPark Home, in the Lockhart and Rosemont area of northwest Orlando, sits nearest the top of that spread. The Holden Heights and Parramore homes, both close to the downtown core, land further down the map despite being some of the more central houses in the group, because their route north still has to clear downtown first.

The Pine Hills homes and Wekiwa Home sit toward the western side of the map, and the Washington Shores and Malibu Groves homes fall roughly in the middle. None of the thirteen homes is walkable to Heathrow. A car is the only practical way to make this drive, the same as it is for every campus this site tracks.

06The Heathrow and Lake Mary corridor

AAA is not the only employer with a Heathrow-area address in our records. Liberty Mutual, another insurer, is based in Lake Mary, and Deloitte and JPMorgan Chase both list Heathrow itself, the same corridor as AAA's own campus. Bank of America, a financial services company, is also based in Lake Mary. None of these companies is affiliated with AAA, and this page is not affiliated with or endorsed by AAA either; we list them because a guest researching one Heathrow-area employer is often weighing a job at a neighboring one, and the same three homes answer for any of them within a minute or two.

07A month near the Heathrow campus

WinterPark Home is the only one of our thirteen homes inside Lockhart itself, part of the area guide that covers Pine Hills, Rosemont and Lockhart together. Groceries run from Presidente Supermarket, a Latin grocer on North Pine Hills Road with a cafeteria and juice counter, to Enson Market, a large Asian supermarket in the West Colonial Chinatown plaza, to the Walmart Supercenter on West Princeton Street for a full weekly shop. The Caribbean Supercenter on West Colonial Drive has been the area's Caribbean grocer for around four decades, and Golden Krust, at West Colonial and North Kirkman, is the reliable stop for a beef patty, jerk chicken or oxtail between shifts.

For time outdoors, Barnett Park on West Colonial Drive spans 159 acres with a splash pad, playgrounds, walking trails, disc golf, and basketball and volleyball courts. The Silver Star Recreation Center offers a public workout room and programs a short drive from WinterPark Home, and Rene's Dynamic Sports Center, on the same road, covers boxing and martial arts for anyone keeping up a routine during a longer stay. Pharmacies sit at the Princeton Street Walmart and along Silver Star Road and Pine Hills Road at CVS and Walgreens.

Fruit Tree Home and Amelia’s Arena Retreat sit in a different part of the city, the downtown and close-in cluster, with the Publix at The Paramount on Lake Eola, College Park's restaurants and cafes, and Lake Eola Park within a few minutes. Choosing between the three houses for a Heathrow assignment often comes down to which everyday routine you would rather have: Pine Hills' grocers and Barnett Park, or downtown's walkable restaurants and Lake Eola Park.

WinterPark Home in Lockhart

About 22 minutes from the Heathrow campus by road, the Katherine House pairs a screened porch with patio seating and a grill off the private driveway, plus a keypad lock on the front door, so arrival does not depend on meeting anyone with a key. Inside, three bedrooms and one bathroom sleep up to eight; the kitchen carries stainless steel appliances, a tile backsplash and cookware down to a coffee maker, and ceiling fans run through the living room and the bedroom. A community park with a playground and courts sits a short walk from the house. It is a plain, single-story home on an older Lockhart block, and it works well for one relocating employee, a couple, or two colleagues who would rather not share a room.

About 29 minutes from the Heathrow campus by road, the 25th Street House opens with keyless entry and keeps a full-size washer and dryer on site, useful for anyone who needs to wash work clothes daily without planning a separate laundromat trip around an already tight schedule. The house has three bedrooms and two bathrooms and sleeps up to ten, with made-up beds and fresh linens waiting on arrival, an electric range and a French-door refrigerator in the kitchen, and a glass-top table that seats four. A screened front porch faces the street, and the fenced backyard behind the house has fruit trees and shade. About 30 minutes from the Heathrow campus by road, the Amelia House has one bedroom with its own attached bathroom, a useful split when two people on different schedules share the house. A covered front entry opens onto a private concrete driveway, and the backyard behind the house is fenced and shaded by mature trees. 10Billing for AAA's relocating teams

The written agreement can name you personally, or it can name AAA's relocation office, a program coordinator or a staffing agency as the paying party, with the monthly invoice issued in whichever name is actually covering the cost. Established employers and agencies can move to net-30 terms on a signed agreement or a purchase order, with the first booking on a new account paid up front while that paperwork is arranged. A W-9 and a certificate of insurance are available on request, since Libema carries a commercial landlord liability policy that most corporate vendor files ask to see.

Every stay, whichever name is on the invoice, comes with itemized monthly receipts built for an expense system or a relocation stipend. If a program, a rotation or a transfer runs past its original end date, extensions run month by month at the same terms; tell us as soon as the new timeline is clear and we will hold the following month at the same house where the calendar allows.
