01Lake Eola Park

Lake Eola Park is the walking loop, fountain and amphitheater at the center of downtown Orlando. The Linton E. Allen Memorial Fountain in the middle of the lake is the city's emblem; swan-shaped pedal boats go out from the east shore, the Walt Disney Amphitheater faces the water, and Thornton Park's cafes and restaurants sit along the east side.

The park's calendar is the city's calendar. The Orlando Farmers Market fills the southeast corner every Sunday; Fireworks at the Fountain, the city's Fourth of July celebration, runs from the afternoon into the night, in 2026 for the forty-ninth time; Come Out With Pride brings its festival and the Most Colorful Parade to the park each October, on October 17 in 2026; and the autumn art festivals, holiday lights and New Year's Eve fill the rest of the year.
