The six bedrooms sit on one level around a kitchen and living area finished in the same recent renovation: gray shaker cabinets, stainless steel appliances and stone countertops in the kitchen, and tile floors that run the length of the house rather than stopping at a doorway. It is a plain, practical update rather than a showpiece, the kind meant to hold up to a full house of guests for a month at a time. Keeping every bedroom on one floor helps a crew hauling gear in after a shift, or a family traveling with small kids or an older relative.

The kitchen photos show counters meant to actually cook on, not just heat something up: room to prep a meal for a full house, with the cabinets and drawers stocked the way a real kitchen would be. The bathroom off the main hall has a double-sink vanity with a lighted mirror and a tiled walk-in shower, useful when two people are getting ready for a shift or a school run at the same time. Three bathrooms in total, spread across six bedrooms, mean a house this size does not funnel everyone through one shower every morning.

One bedroom holds two beds and the house's desk, the room a remote worker or a second nurse working the opposite shift would claim first. Every bedroom has a ceiling fan and a wall-mounted TV, and the house sleeps fifteen across seven beds in six bedrooms. Some of the bedrooms still carry the wall art and character touches left from the house's other life as a themed group rental; none of it changes how the rooms function on a plain monthly stay, and there is more on that below.

Laundry is full-size and in the unit, not a shared machine down the hall or a coin laundry a few miles off, which starts to matter on any stay long enough to actually need it more than once. It is one of four homes in the portfolio with full-size in-unit laundry, alongside the 25th Street House, the Cozy House and the Wekiwa House.

The house is furnished throughout with beds, linens and everyday furniture, the standard setup every Libema home is booked with. Tile floors instead of carpet are a practical choice for Central Florida: easier to keep clean through a Florida summer, and a ceiling fan in every room takes some of the load off the air conditioning between the times the thermostat kicks on. None of it is dressed up; it is a house meant to be lived in for a month rather than photographed for a weekend.

07Who this house suits

At six bedrooms, three bathrooms and seven beds built to sleep fifteen, this is one of the larger houses in the portfolio, and the size decides who it works best for. A work crew on a job site can put a full team under one roof, one kitchen and one address, instead of splitting people across separate rooms. A traveling team or a reunion group gets the same math from the other direction: more bedrooms in one booking than a hotel block, and a kitchen instead of eating out for a week.

On Airbnb the house is still listed under its original name, The Pines Game House, and that listing is where the group-stay side of it lives: the leisure bookings, the reunions, the weekend groups who come partly for the theme itself. On a monthly stay booked directly with us, none of that changes how the house functions. The character decor stays on the walls in a few bedrooms, but the desk, the laundry, the driveway and the yard work the same whether the group before you was there for a game night or a job.

For a family relocating to Orlando or riding out an insurance displacement while a home is repaired, the draw is different: a fenced yard, a private driveway, and everything on one floor, with no stairs to manage around moving boxes, young kids or an older relative. A remote worker gets the desk described above and a quiet residential street instead of a downtown office building. A family vacation group gets the same bedroom count and yard for a theme-park week, without needing two rooms at a hotel.

08What's around the house

Head Avenue sits at the edge where Pine Hills and Rosemont overlap in the 32808 zip, close enough to Rosemont's namesake Lake Orlando that the quieter, greener streets off Clarcona-Ocoee Road and US-441 are only a few minutes from the front door. Rosemont's position next to I-4 is part of the draw: downtown is a run south, AdventHealth Altamonte a run north. Pine Hills is the one part of the portfolio where four Libema homes sit close enough to house a large group across more than one address: the Entertainment House and the Cozy House are both near the Fairgrounds, one with a games room and one with a simple open plan, and the Londonderry House has a bunk room for a family or a team. The Katherine House sits just outside Pine Hills itself, north in Lockhart.

Groceries are a short drive rather than a walk. Presidente Supermarket, a Latin grocer on North Pine Hills Road, sits at Silver Star Road with a cafeteria and juice counter inside, and Caribbean Supercenter and Enson Market, an Asian supermarket in the same stretch of West Colonial Drive, cover most of a week's shopping between them. The Walmart Supercenter on West Princeton Street is the closest full-size American grocery. For dinner, Island Jam Caribbean Cuisine on North Pine Hills Road runs a well-reviewed Haitian menu of griot and fried plantains, and Golden Krust at West Colonial and Kirkman is the reliable stop for Jamaican patties, jerk chicken and oxtail.

For time outdoors, Barnett Park on West Colonial Drive is the big one: 159 acres with a free seasonal splash pad, playgrounds, walking trails, disc golf, and basketball and volleyball courts, plus a recreation center with a fitness room. The Central Florida Fairgrounds and Orlando Amphitheater, home to the Central Florida Fair each spring and concerts through the rest of the year, sit about 3 minutes from the house on Pine Hills' southern edge. The Silver Star Recreation Center adds a second public option nearby, and a 24-hour Planet Fitness sits out on Silver Star Road toward Ocoee.

For coffee, this stretch of Pine Hills runs more on the Caribbean bakeries along West Colonial than sit-down cafes; Mecatos Bakery & Cafe on South Hiawassee Road, a short drive south, is the closest proper laptop-and-latte stop, with Colombian coffee and pastries. Pharmacies are easy to reach along Silver Star Road and Pine Hills Road, plus the Walmart on Princeton Street, so a prescription pickup does not mean a special trip across town. The closest emergency rooms are AdventHealth Orlando to the east and Orlando Health Health Central in Ocoee to the west, both a straightforward drive rather than a long haul.

09Getting to work, the hospitals and the parks

All figures below are typical road-routing times without traffic; Orlando's rush hours add to the longer routes, especially anything that touches I-4. The numbers here are specific to this house rather than a portfolio-wide range.

For clinicians and families keeping a hospital schedule, the drive from Head Avenue by road runs like this:

• Orlando Health / ORMC: about 12 minutes
• Arnold Palmer & Winnie Palmer: about 13 minutes
• Orlando Health Health Central in Ocoee: about 11 minutes
• AdventHealth Altamonte Springs: about 22 minutes

Health Central, at 11 minutes, is close enough that a west-side day shift barely touches the expressway. AdventHealth Altamonte, at 22 minutes, is the one hospital on this list worth padding for a shift that starts against afternoon traffic.

For a corporate or contract stay, the same roads reach several of the metro's larger employers. Hilton Grand Vacations, a vacation-ownership and hospitality company, keeps its MetroWest offices about 9 minutes away, and Valencia College's West Campus and the Orange County Public Schools headquarters are both about 9 minutes as well. Lockheed Martin's Sand Lake Road site runs about 17 minutes, and the Orange County Convention Center is about 21 minutes for a trade-show team. Orlando International Airport is about 33 minutes, worth knowing for a Sunday arrival or a late departure.

For time off, downtown's Lake Eola Park is about 12 minutes, Winter Park's Park Avenue about 15, and Universal Orlando about 14. Walt Disney World is farther out at about 40 minutes, and Wekiwa Springs State Park, for a swim in a spring that holds a steady 72 degrees, is about 25 minutes north. Camping World Stadium and the Kia Center, if a stay lines up with a game or a concert, are 8 and 10 minutes away.

A few destinations sit farther out but still inside an easy day trip. The Mall at Millenia is about 15 minutes for a bigger shopping run, and ICON Park on International Drive is about 18. For a longer commute, UCF's main campus runs about 30 minutes and the Central Florida Research Park, home to Team Orlando's simulation and training work, is about 31; Full Sail University in Winter Park is about 21. SeaWorld Orlando is about 27 minutes, on the far side of the tourist corridor from this house.

10A typical stay here

A month here tends to settle into a rhythm fast. Groceries come from Presidente or the Walmart on Princeton Street, laundry runs in the unit instead of a trip to a laundromat, and the desk in the two-bed bedroom covers a video call or a stack of paperwork without a coffee shop involved. On an evening off, Barnett Park's trails and courts are close, and the Fairgrounds host the Central Florida Fair each spring plus concerts the rest of the year. On a weekend, downtown's Lake Eola is 12 minutes for the Sunday market, and Wekiwa Springs is 25 minutes north for a swim in clear, spring-fed water.

A car is the only practical way to get around this part of Orlando. There is no SunRail or rail transit out here, and LYNX buses run the main roads but not a full network. SR-408 is the spine east into downtown and the hospitals, and it is a toll road collected by transponder or by plate; a SunPass or E-PASS is worth setting up for a stay that runs more than a few weeks, since plate tolling costs more per trip. This house's own parking is a private driveway, so parking at the house itself is never a question; every Libema home includes private parking, though the setup varies by property between a driveway, a carport and a parking pad.

Errands stay close by. A prescription refill or a pharmacy run is a short drive along Silver Star Road or Pine Hills Road, and the Walmart Supercenter on Princeton Street covers most of what a supermarket run does not. Between the desk for a work call, the laundry for scrubs or work clothes, and a kitchen stocked well enough to cook every night instead of driving out for it, the practical side of a longer stay here is mostly solved before you unpack.

12Booking this house

This house takes bookings two ways. For a night or a few, it runs through its own Airbnb and Vrbo listings, still titled The Pines Game House on Airbnb from its life as a themed group rental. For a month or longer, it is booked directly with us on a written agreement, the same process every Libema home uses, and the character decor in a few bedrooms has no bearing on that side of a booking.
