Furnished housing near AdventHealth Orlando.
AdventHealth Orlando is the system's flagship campus on Rollins Street near downtown and one of the highest-volume hospitals in the United States, a major destination for travel nurses and allied-health clinicians.
A whole furnished house near your assignment beats a hotel room or a shared listing: your own kitchen, laundry, private parking, and a quiet place to rest between shifts, at a monthly rate that works with a housing stipend. Families staying near a patient get the same house with room for relatives.
The campus
AdventHealth Orlando is the health system's flagship hospital, on Rollins Street near downtown, and one of the highest-volume hospitals in the country. A campus with that much volume runs around the clock across the emergency department, the operating rooms, labor and delivery, and dozens of specialty units, which is why it stays a steady destination for travel nurses and allied-health clinicians on contract all year. It also means a constant flow of new permanent hires still finding a neighborhood, residents and fellows on rotation, and families whose loved one has been admitted for longer than a hotel budget was built for. Those three kinds of guest, the traveler on a thirteen-week assignment, the new hire settling in, and the family keeping a bedside vigil, end up wanting the same thing: a private house with a real kitchen and its own front door, a short drive from Rollins Street.

AdventHealth also runs other campuses across Central Florida. AdventHealth Altamonte Springs, up I-4 in the northern suburbs, is close to our northwest-Orlando homes, and AdventHealth Winter Park, on Lee Road just north of the city, is a short run from our Head Avenue and Katherine houses in Rosemont and Lockhart, both already a good fit for clinicians splitting time between the northern campuses and downtown. If a rotation moves you between campuses partway through a contract, those two homes are worth knowing about, while the three homes on this page, the 25th Street, Amelia and Dollins houses, sit among the closest homes to the Rollins Street campus itself, each within about ten minutes by road, tied with two more homes covered later on this page.
The homes closest to AdventHealth Orlando
Five of our homes are within about ten minutes of AdventHealth Orlando by road, and every home in the portfolio is within sixteen. The 25th Street House in Holden Heights is closest at about 8 minutes: a furnished three-bedroom, two-bathroom bungalow with full-size laundry on site, keyless entry, a screened front porch and a fenced backyard with fruit trees. It carries 142 Airbnb reviews at a 4.83 rating, the largest number of reviews of any home in the portfolio, and it suits a solo clinician easily and a small family well, though the bedrooms run small. The Amelia House in Parramore is about 9 minutes away: a four-bedroom, two-bathroom house, freshly renovated, with one bedroom set up with its own attached bathroom, a fenced backyard shaded by mature trees and a private concrete driveway, useful for two clinicians who are not on the same schedule. The Dollins House in Washington Shores is about 10 minutes away: four bedrooms and two bathrooms on a shaded lot of mature oak trees, with blackout curtains and wall-mounted TVs in the bedrooms and a leather sectional in the open living area, a comfortable pick for a family or for two or three clinicians sharing.

All three sit close to Orlando Health / ORMC as well: Fruit Tree Home is about 5 minutes from it, Game Day Getaway-Downtown Orlando about 7, and Amelia’s Arena Retreat about 9, so a stay booked for one downtown campus works just as well if a rotation shifts you to the other. Behind those three, WinterPark Home in Lockhart and City and Stadium Sanctuary Vibes in Washington Shores are also about 10 minutes from AdventHealth Orlando. The Clue House, Meet. Play. Stay. and Downtown & Stadium Cozy Retreat run about 12 minutes; Entertainment Home and Cozy Home are about 13; Piedmont is about 14; and Wekiwa Home, out in Hiawassee on the far west side, is about 16.
Where the homes sit around the campus
The map below places each home on its true compass bearing from AdventHealth Orlando, with the distance from the centre standing in for drive time rather than miles. Amelia’s Arena Retreat sits close in on the downtown edge, in Parramore, and Fruit Tree Home is a little south of that, in Holden Heights. The Washington Shores homes, including Game Day Getaway-Downtown Orlando, sit to the west, and the Pine Hills, Rosemont and Lockhart homes, the Head Avenue and Katherine houses among them, spread out to the northwest. Wekiwa Home, farthest out in Hiawassee, anchors the western edge of the map.

Homes in different directions can still land on a similar drive time, so read the map together with the neighborhood pages rather than by distance alone. The Parramore and Holden Heights pages cover the downtown-edge homes on this page, the Washington Shores page covers Game Day Getaway-Downtown Orlando and its west-side neighbors, and the Pine Hills, Rosemont and Lockhart pages cover the northwest cluster, including the Head Avenue and Katherine houses.
The shift commute
The minutes on this page are typical road-routing times without traffic, and AdventHealth Orlando sits close enough to downtown that rush hour matters on the busier routes in and out. From the Washington Shores side, where Game Day Getaway-Downtown Orlando sits, the drive runs along SR-408 or I-4, and both slow during the morning and evening peaks; a day shift starting around 7 a.m. or a night shift ending around the same hour both move against the heaviest flow, while a mid-afternoon start can meet the build-up on I-4 instead. From Parramore and Holden Heights, the Amelia and 25th Street houses are close enough that surface streets handle most trips, with I-4 kept in reserve for a faster run when the surface roads back up. None of the three homes on this page is within walking distance of the campus, so plan on the drive at both ends of every shift.
SR-408 is a toll road, collected by transponder or by license plate. Over a thirteen-week contract worked three or four days a week, setting up a SunPass or E-PASS transponder in the first week costs less over the length of the assignment than paying by plate on every trip. Parking at the house is never the complication: every home comes with a private driveway, carport or parking pad, so a night-shift clinician getting home at sunrise pulls straight in without hunting for a spot, and a family running two vehicles is not competing for street space. Whatever applies on the hospital side, garage rates or a reserved staff lot, is AdventHealth's own policy to explain; check with your unit or your agency before your first shift.
For travel clinicians
A monthly agreement matched to your contract dates is the core of what we do. You get a written agreement naming the home, the dates, the rate and the deposit, plus itemized monthly receipts your agency can process against a housing stipend or a reimbursement. If your agency prefers to be the party on the agreement instead of you personally, we write it that way, with a W-9 and a certificate of insurance available on request; Libema carries a commercial landlord liability policy. Extensions run month by month at the same terms, so if a thirteen-week contract turns into twenty-six weeks, tell us as early as you can and we will hold the following month where the calendar allows.

The three homes on this page are set up for the parts of a contract that matter most day to day. Fruit Tree Home has full-size laundry on site, so scrubs go straight into the machine after a shift instead of waiting for a laundromat day. Amelia’s Arena Retreat's bedroom with its own attached bathroom works well for two clinicians who are not on the same schedule, and Game Day Getaway-Downtown Orlando's blackout curtains and wall-mounted TVs help anyone sleeping through the day after a run of night shifts. Every kitchen in the portfolio comes stocked with cookware and dishes, and Wi-Fi is on from the day you arrive, so there is no setup period before you can cook a meal or get online for a call home. Our travel nurse and medical housing page covers the stipend paperwork in more detail and lists the homes near the other Orlando-area campuses.
For families of a patient
When someone you love is admitted at AdventHealth Orlando for a stay that runs past a few days, a hotel room nearby gets expensive and cramped fast. A house a few minutes away changes the shape of those weeks: relatives can rotate through without booking a second room, meals can be cooked instead of bought from a vending machine or a drive-through, a child can have a real bedroom instead of a fold-out chair, and whoever is doing the overnight vigil has somewhere quiet to sleep during the day. Fruit Tree Home and Amelia’s Arena Retreat both suit a family well, and Game Day Getaway-Downtown Orlando, with four bedrooms on a shaded lot, gives more room when grandparents or siblings join partway through a long admission.
All three book by the month on the same written agreement we use for clinicians, and all three extend month by month if a discharge date moves, which it often does with a long treatment. A shorter admission or a surgery with a known date can run nightly or weekly instead, through the homes' Airbnb and Vrbo listings. We are careful with the words here: Libema Properties is an independent housing provider, not affiliated with AdventHealth, and this page exists only so a patient's family has an easier time finding a house nearby without paying downtown-hotel prices for weeks on end. Our page on housing for patients' families and our guide on staying near the hospital when someone you love is admitted go further into the practical side.
What's in the house
Every home is furnished and ready to move into from the first night. Furniture, made-up beds and linens, a stocked kitchen, a washer and dryer, Wi-Fi and private parking come with all thirteen homes; the exact inclusions are confirmed in writing when you book. For the three homes on this page, that means Fruit Tree Home's full-size laundry, Amelia’s Arena Retreat's bedroom with its own bathroom, and Game Day Getaway-Downtown Orlando's blackout curtains are already part of the package, not an upgrade you have to ask for.
Exact inclusions vary a little by home and are confirmed in writing when you book.
None of the three homes on this page has a pool; they are ordinary residential houses, like the rest of the portfolio. Bed and bath counts are the counts published on each home's own listing, and a sofa is never counted as a bed. Fruit Tree Home, Amelia’s Arena Retreat and Game Day Getaway-Downtown Orlando all publish a street address on the site, three of the six homes in the portfolio that do; the other six publish a neighborhood and zip code instead, with the exact address shared once you book.
Living near the campus
Parramore and Holden Heights, home to the Amelia and 25th Street houses, sit on the close-in side of downtown, covered in our downtown and close-in area guide. The Publix at The Paramount on Lake Eola is the walkable grocery run from that side of the portfolio. College Park, a short drive north and itself a short hop from AdventHealth Orlando's main campus, is where the independent kitchens and cafes sit, Foxtail Coffee and Cups & Pups Coffee among them. The Downtown Orlando YMCA on North Mills Avenue is a full-service gym with two pools, and Lake Eola Park's roughly one-mile sidewalk loop and Sunday farmers market are a few minutes from both homes.
Game Day Getaway-Downtown Orlando, on the Washington Shores side, is a few minutes from Nikki's Place on South Orange Blossom Trail, serving soul food since 1999, and from Lake Lorna Doone Park, a twelve-acre city park by Camping World Stadium with a walking loop, a splash pad and outdoor fitness stations, covered in our Washington Shores area guide. For a bigger grocery run, the Walmart Supercenter on West Princeton Street and the Latin, Caribbean and Asian grocers along Pine Hills Road and West Colonial Drive are a short drive northwest. Pharmacies sit along Orange Blossom Trail and West Colonial, plus the Publix pharmacy at Lake Eola downtown for the two close-in homes.
A car covers these trips easily. The downtown-edge homes are also a short drive from LYNX Central, the region's main bus hub, and the free LYMMO bus circulates the downtown core, so a clinician who wants to leave the car parked on a day off has that option. None of the homes is walkable to the campus itself, so the car, or the LYMMO loop for the downtown-edge homes, is part of the daily plan either way.

Common questions.
How far are the homes from AdventHealth Orlando?
Between 8 and 16 minutes by road, depending on the home. The table on this page lists every home, and each home page has its own drive-time table.
Do you rent for a 13-week assignment?
Yes. Our homes are set up for monthly and multi-month stays, which covers a standard travel contract with room to extend.
Can I get a lease and receipts for my stipend?
Yes. We provide a written agreement and payment receipts you can submit to your agency for a housing stipend or reimbursement.
Can family of a patient stay with you?
Yes. Families keeping vigil for a long treatment often want a house near the campus with a kitchen and room for relatives. See our page on patient and family stays.
Can two colleagues on different shifts share one of the homes near AdventHealth Orlando?
Yes. Amelia’s Arena Retreat, about 9 minutes from AdventHealth Orlando, has one bedroom with its own attached bathroom, which helps two clinicians on opposite schedules stay out of each other's way in the morning. Game Day Getaway-Downtown Orlando, about 10 minutes away, has blackout curtains and wall-mounted TVs in its bedrooms, useful for anyone sleeping during the day after a run of night shifts.
Is there enough parking for a family running two vehicles near the hospital?
Yes. Every home in the portfolio comes with a private driveway, carport or parking pad rather than shared or street parking. Fruit Tree Home, Amelia’s Arena Retreat and Game Day Getaway-Downtown Orlando, three of the closest homes to AdventHealth Orlando, each have their own driveway, so a family with two cars is not competing for street space. WinterPark Home and City and Stadium Sanctuary Vibes tie Game Day Getaway-Downtown Orlando at about 10 minutes, with a driveway at WinterPark Home and a carport at City and Stadium Sanctuary Vibes.
Do you have housing near AdventHealth's other Central Florida campuses?
Yes. AdventHealth Altamonte Springs, up I-4 in the northern suburbs, is close to our northwest-Orlando homes, and AdventHealth Winter Park, on Lee Road, is a short run from our Head Avenue and Katherine houses in Rosemont and Lockhart. Tell us which campus your assignment is at and we will point you to the home that fits best.
What happens if my assignment at AdventHealth Orlando runs longer than expected?
Extensions run month by month at the same terms. If a thirteen-week contract turns into twenty-six, or a family's hospital stay runs past the first month booked, tell us as soon as you know and we will hold the following month at the same home where the calendar allows. There is no separate short-term extension policy beyond the month.
Can my staffing agency be the party on the rental agreement instead of me?
Yes. We can write the agreement to your agency, employer or insurer rather than to you personally, with a monthly invoice in the company's name. A W-9 and a certificate of insurance are available on request, since Libema carries a commercial landlord liability policy. Net-30 terms are available for established agencies on a signed agreement; the first booking is paid up front.
Can I actually cook meals during a long stay near AdventHealth Orlando?
Yes. Every home comes with a stocked kitchen, cookware and dishes included, so you can cook a meal the first night instead of living out of takeout containers. Game Day Getaway-Downtown Orlando's open living area sits next to the kitchen, and Amelia’s Arena Retreat and 25th Street House both have a dining table, so a family can sit down together.
Tell us your dates and what brings you to Orlando.
We'll point you to the homes that fit, usually the same day. Nights, weeks or months.
