Here to work

A furnished Orlando house to work from, by the month

A whole house with a desk, Wi-Fi and a real kitchen, at a monthly rate, for remote workers who want a season in Orlando without a lease.

Remote work made Orlando a place people try for a month or a winter rather than a place they only visit for a weekend. Our homes are set up for that: furnished, rented by the month, with room for a proper desk and a door you can close for calls. Two homes have built-in workspaces; the rest have a dining table and a quiet bedroom that do the job. You get a neighborhood, a driveway and a yard instead of a hotel corridor.

Room to actually work

Desks and office chairs in two bedrooms at Meet. Play. Stay., an in-home workspace at The Clue House, and a dining table and quiet room in every other home.

Wi-Fi included

Wi-Fi is included at our homes. Tell us how you work when you inquire and we'll confirm the setup at the house you choose.

One monthly rate

No nightly pricing, no resort fees. One clear monthly figure for the whole house.

A city worth a season

Downtown, the lakes, Winter Park, the springs and the parks are all a short drive, and the airport is 26 to 39 minutes away for the weeks you need to fly.

A month of remote work in an Orlando house

A month of remote work takes more than a change of scenery. It takes a place to actually get work done, day after day, without a lease to sign or someone else's schedule to work around. The guests who land on this page are rarely on vacation. Most are trading a rented desk or a spare room somewhere else for a whole house here, for four weeks or a full season, and what they want first is somewhere to actually work: a door that closes, a kitchen that's already stocked, and a monthly agreement instead of a lease. That's the whole shape of the booking. You send us your dates and the home you're eyeing, we confirm the monthly rate, the deposit and the pet policy in writing, and you sign before you land. A few days before check-in we send arrival notes with the door code or the lockbox location, so you let yourself in and start unpacking without an office to find first.

From there the day runs on your own clock, not a front desk's. You make coffee in your own kitchen, sit down at a desk or a dining table that's already set up rather than improvised from a suitcase, and take calls behind a bedroom door instead of in a shared hallway. When the laptop closes for the day, the house stays yours. No housekeeping cart outside the room, no neighbor's television through the wall, just a yard, a driveway, and a street you can walk down to clear your head between meetings.

Most remote stays here settle into a rhythm inside the first week: a grocery run to stock the kitchen properly, a short list of nearby coffee shops for the days you want a change of scenery, and a sense of the drive into downtown or Creative Village for the afternoons you actually want to be around people. The three homes below are the ones built for exactly that rhythm.

The three homes with room to work

Three of our thirteen homes are set up specifically for a working stay, with a desk, a quiet layout, or both.

The Meet & Play House in Malibu Groves is the newest-built home in the portfolio and has the most dedicated workspace of the three: two of its three bedrooms come with a desk and an office chair, so two people keeping the same hours aren't sharing one table.

It sleeps up to nine, has a kitchen island with seating, a laundry room, and a separate game room with a pool table for the hours the laptop stays shut. By road, it's about 9 minutes from downtown Orlando, 10 from Creative Village, and 11 from Lake Eola Park.

The Head Avenue House in Pine Hills and Rosemont has its own in-home workspace, and at six bedrooms and three bathrooms, it's the one to book if more than one remote worker is sharing the house: a couple, roommates, or a small team spread across bedrooms. It has full-size in-unit laundry and tile floors throughout, and it's about 11 minutes from downtown Orlando, 10 from Creative Village, and 12 from Lake Eola Park.

The Wekiwa House in Hiawassee is the smallest and quietest of the three: two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, best for one person or a couple who wants a slower street and doesn't mind a longer drive. It's about 17 minutes to both downtown Orlando and Creative Village, and 18 to Lake Eola Park, though it sits closer to Wekiwa Springs State Park than anywhere else in the portfolio, about 18 minutes away, for the weekend the laptop stays shut.

The drive to downtown and Creative Village

Downtown Orlando and Creative Village, the district that holds UCF's and Valencia's downtown campuses along with the EA Orlando game studio, are the two places remote workers on this page ask about most: a change of scenery, a different coffee shop, a lunch that isn't cooked at home. None of the three homes built for remote work sit inside downtown itself. They're west and northwest of it, in Malibu Groves, Pine Hills and Hiawassee, which trades a walk to the office district for a driveway, a yard and a quieter street.

UCF's Center for Emerging Media in Creative Village, downtown Orlando

Across all thirteen of our homes, the drive to downtown Orlando runs 6 to 17 minutes, to Creative Village 6 to 17 minutes, and to Lake Eola Park 8 to 18 minutes. The three homes built for remote work sit on the longer half of that range in exchange for a quieter street and a yard.

Minutes by road without traffic, from the drive-time matrix.

By road and without traffic, Meet. Play. Stay. is the closest of the three to downtown at 9 minutes, with The Clue House two minutes behind at 11. To Creative Village the two homes are tied at 10 minutes each, and Wekiwa Home is the outlier at 17 minutes to both. Orlando's rush hours add time to all three, more on I-4 and SR-408 than on the local roads.

Lake Eola Park, the walkable green space at the center of downtown, is worth calling out on its own, since it's the closest thing to a downtown base for a coffee or a lap around the lake between calls. Here is how all three homes compare across downtown, Creative Village and Lake Eola Park; every home page carries the same table for the rest of the portfolio.

What's already set up for a working stay

At Meet. Play. Stay., the two desks sit in separate bedrooms rather than side by side, so a second person on a call is behind a door, not across the same table. The kitchen island with seating and the dining table for six give you somewhere to eat that isn't the desk, and the laundry room means the wash doesn't wait for a weekend trip to a laundromat. At The Clue House, the in-home workspace is paired with full-size laundry and tile floors throughout, in a layout roomy enough that a second or third remote worker can claim a bedroom rather than share a single home office. Wekiwa Home trades a dedicated desk for two full bathrooms in a two-bedroom house, useful if you're sharing with one other person and you're both on calls at the same part of the day.

None of the three has a pool. Meet. Play. Stay. is the newest-built home in the portfolio, The Clue House is freshly renovated, and Wekiwa Home is the smallest and plainest of the three, with an older single-story exterior. None of them is styled as anything more than a plain house built for work. What they share is a kitchen stocked with cookware and dishes, a washer and dryer, Wi-Fi, and private parking, so you're not adding a coworking membership, a laundromat run or a parking fee on top of the month.

Booking and paying for a remote month

Most remote workers book this stay themselves rather than through an employer, and the paperwork is built around that. You inquire with your dates and the home you want, we confirm the monthly rate, the deposit and the pet policy in writing, and you sign a monthly agreement before the first payment. The rate is for the whole house, not a room or a desk, and there's no nightly resort fee or marketplace service fee added on a monthly stay booked directly with us.

If a company is covering the stay instead, your employer, a client, or your own business, we can write the agreement in the company's name with you as the occupant, invoice monthly, and provide a W-9 and a certificate of insurance on request, since Libema carries a commercial landlord liability policy. Established companies can be billed on net-30 terms under a signed agreement or purchase order, with the first booking paid up front.

If you only want to try Orlando for a week or two before deciding on a full month, that's a nightly or weekly stay, which runs through each home's own Airbnb or Vrbo listing instead of the monthly agreement. It's the same house and the same desk, just booked on the shorter platform until you know the month is worth committing to.

Extensions work the same way they do for every other monthly guest here: tell us as soon as you know you want to stay longer, and we extend the agreement month by month at the same terms. Give us notice as early as you can, since that's what keeps an extension straightforward instead of a last-minute scramble to hold the house past your original date.

Life here between calls

Where you shop and eat depends on which of the three homes you pick, and each area has its own local guide with more detail. From Meet. Play. Stay. in Malibu Groves, the Publix at Metro West Village on South Hiawassee Road is the closest full grocery store, rebuilt new and reopened in 2025, with the MetroWest restaurant row along the same road for the nights you don't want to cook: Tacos Don Andres for birria, Habibi Lebanese Grill for shawarma, and Mecatos Bakery & Cafe for Colombian coffee and pastries if you want a table away from the desk for an hour.

From Wekiwa Home in Hiawassee, the same Publix and the same Hiawassee Road restaurant row are the closest options, with a second Publix and a large Walmart Supercenter further west on Colonial toward Ocoee. From The Clue House in Pine Hills, Presidente Supermarket on North Pine Hills Road and the Caribbean Supercenter on West Colonial Drive are the everyday stops, with Island Jam Caribbean Cuisine and Golden Krust nearby for takeout.

For a coffee shop with room to spread out, College Park's Edgewater Drive, a short drive east of all three homes, is the closest cluster: Foxtail Coffee is the roomy, laptop-friendly one, Cups & Pups Coffee is dog-friendly, and Tartine is a small French cafe for pastries. Downtown, the compact Publix at The Paramount on Lake Eola is the grocery for a stay near Creative Village.

Lake Eola Park itself is the obvious lunch-break destination on the days you're downtown: a roughly one-mile sidewalk loop around the lake, the swan boats, and a Sunday farmers market from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. For a full day away from the desk, Loch Haven Park north of downtown holds the Orlando Museum of Art, the Orlando Science Center, Orlando Shakes and Orlando Family Stage together, with Harry P. Leu Gardens, a fifty-acre botanical garden, close by.

Closer to the work-ready homes, Barnett Park in Pine Hills has walking trails, courts and a splash pad on 159 acres, Lake Lorna Doone Park near the stadium has a walking loop and outdoor fitness stations, and Wekiwa Springs State Park, about 18 minutes from Wekiwa Home, is a clear spring-fed swimming hole that holds a steady 72 degrees. For a gym, the Downtown Orlando YMCA has two pools and a full class schedule, Planet Fitness has a 24-hour location on Silver Star Road, and Crunch and EOS sit along West Colonial Drive on the west side.

All three homes are drive-everywhere; none sits close enough to SunRail or the downtown LYMMO bus to skip a car. SR-408 and I-4 are the fastest routes into downtown and Creative Village, and SR-408 is tolled, so a SunPass or E-PASS transponder is worth having for a month or a season.

Cristina C.July 2026 · Stayed via Airbnb

Cristina, who stayed in July 2026, put it plainly: 'I had everything I needed to make it a long-term stay. I was in this Airbnb for 30 days.' That's the review this page is built around: the house works for exactly that kind of stay, not just a weekend.

Planning a remote month before you book

People who move into a remote-work stay smoothly tend to sort out the same handful of things before they inquire.

  • How many people are working at once. One person can use any of the three homes. Two people on calls at the same time do best at Meet. Play. Stay., with a desk in two separate bedrooms, or Wekiwa Home, with two full bathrooms in a two-bedroom layout. A group of three or more sharing bedrooms fits the six-bedroom Head Avenue House.
  • Your call schedule. If your hours overlap with whoever you're sharing the house with, tell us; we'll point you to the home where the desks, or the bedrooms, are furthest apart.
  • How long you're staying. A month is the standard length for this kind of booking, and it extends by the month if the season runs longer than planned. Tell us early if there's a real chance you'll extend.
  • Whether a company is paying. It changes whose name goes on the agreement and whether we invoice monthly or you pay directly.
  • A pet. Several of our homes accept pets; the policy and any deposit are confirmed in writing before you commit.
  • A car. All three of these homes are west or northwest of downtown, and none sits close enough to SunRail or the LYMMO bus to go without one. Every home has private parking, so the only ongoing cost is the toll on SR-408.

Send us that list with your dates and we'll usually reply the same day with a home, real photos, and the drive time to wherever your calls or your coffee shop take you.

Good to know

Common questions.

Do the homes have Wi-Fi?

Yes. Because plans vary by home, we confirm the exact setup with you before you book so a remote worker knows what to expect.

Is there a desk?

Two homes have dedicated desks and office chairs; the others have a dining table and a quiet bedroom. Tell us how you work and we'll match the home.

Can I stay for a month and then extend?

Yes. Monthly stays extend easily, which suits people who arrive for a month and decide to stay for a season.

Is Orlando good for remote work?

It has a large airport, coworking and coffee downtown and in Winter Park, and year-round outdoor options. Our guides section has a remote worker's guide to the city.

What's the shortest stay if I want to try working from Orlando before committing to a month?

A night or a week, booked through the home's own Airbnb or Vrbo listing rather than the monthly agreement. It's the same house and the same desk, just booked on the shorter platform. If you decide to stay longer, tell us and we'll set up the monthly agreement and rate for the rest of your time, whether that runs a full month or a season.

Which home works best for two people who both need to be on calls at the same time?

Meet. Play. Stay. has a desk in two separate bedrooms, so each call happens behind its own door. Wekiwa Home is smaller, two bedrooms, but has two full bathrooms, which helps if you're both stepping in and out of video calls around the same part of the day. Tell us your schedule and we'll match the home.

Can my employer or my own business pay for the stay directly?

Yes. We can write the monthly agreement in the company's name with you as the occupant, invoice monthly, and provide a W-9 and a certificate of insurance on request, since Libema carries a commercial landlord liability policy. Established companies can be billed on net-30 terms under a signed agreement or purchase order, with the first month paid up front.

Do any of these three homes take pets for a longer remote stay?

Several of our homes accept pets. Tell us when you inquire and we'll confirm which of the three fits, along with the pet policy and any deposit, in writing before you commit. We would rather settle it before you book than after you've arrived with a dog in the car.

How far is the airport from these three homes if I need to fly out mid-stay?

By road and without traffic, it's about 31 minutes from Meet. Play. Stay., 33 from The Clue House, and 39 from Wekiwa Home to Orlando International Airport. All three add time during Orlando's rush hours, so plan the drive accordingly for an early flight.

Can several remote workers or roommates share one of these houses?

Yes, most often at The Clue House, which has six bedrooms, three bathrooms and an in-home workspace, or Meet. Play. Stay., which sleeps up to nine across three bedrooms with two desks. We write one agreement for the house, with itemized receipts provided under that agreement for whoever on the trip needs one.
