Mills 50 is the district where Mills Avenue meets Colonial Drive: Orlando's Vietnamese restaurants, a mile of murals, and the route of the Dragon Parade each Lunar New Year.
01Mills 50
Mills 50 takes its name from the two roads that cross at its center, Mills Avenue and Colonial Drive, which is State Road 50. It grew as Orlando's Vietnamese neighborhood and is still the place for pho, banh mi and Vietnamese coffee, with newer restaurants, bars, vintage shops and a run of large murals on the buildings along Mills Avenue.
Each Lunar New Year the Central Florida Dragon Parade starts near Lake Highland Drive and marches down Mills Avenue, with a festival market at the end; in 2026 it was held on February 22. Leu Gardens, the Orlando Science Center and the museums at Loch Haven Park are just north, and Lake Eola is a few minutes south.
