Whole houses for convention and trade-show teams in Orlando
A house for the booth team instead of five hotel rooms at show rates, 18 to 31 minutes from the convention center with parking for the van.
During a big show at the Orange County Convention Center, hotel rates on International Drive climb and rooms disappear. A booth team of four to eight can take one of our houses instead: a kitchen for early breakfasts, a living room for the end-of-day debrief, a driveway for the van and the crates, and one rate for the house. Our homes are 18 to 31 minutes north of the convention center by I-4, a trade most teams are happy to make for the price and the space.
One house for the team
Three to six bedrooms, sleeping eight to fifteen, so the whole crew is under one roof.
Parking for the van and the crates
Private driveways, with a large pad at Piedmont.
18 to 31 minutes by road
Every home lists its drive time to the convention center and International Drive.
Set up for a work week
Wi-Fi, a kitchen, laundry for the show shirts, and a written agreement for the expense report.
A house for the booth team during show week
When a major show fills the Orange County Convention Center, hotel rates on International Drive climb and rooms get harder to find the closer you book to the dates. A whole house changes the math for a crew running a booth: everyone checks into the same address, there is a kitchen for early coffee and a real dinner after a long day on the floor, and one written agreement covers the group instead of a stack of separate hotel folios.
A show-week stay tends to run the same way no matter which home you pick. The team arrives a day or two before badge pickup, enough time to unpack booth materials, print last-minute signage and get everyone settled before the floor opens. During the show itself, the house works as a staging point: someone runs back mid-afternoon for a forgotten case of literature, someone else naps between shifts, and the group meets back at the house each evening to compare notes on the day instead of scattering to separate hotel rooms. On the last night, the crew packs the van from a driveway instead of a loading dock.
Our homes sit on residential streets in west and northwest Orlando and on the downtown edge, not inside the International Drive corridor itself. That trades a walk to the show floor for a short drive, a real kitchen and a rate for the whole house instead of a room per person. If your team has run a show out of an extended-stay hotel before, the difference tends to show up first in the kitchen and the parking lot: nobody is cooking on a two-burner cooktop, and nobody is circling the block looking for a spot.
The homes that fit a convention crew
Three of our thirteen homes make the easiest case for a booth team, and each posts one of the shorter drives in the portfolio to the convention center.

The 25th Street House in Holden Heights is 18 minutes from the convention center by road, a three-bedroom, two-bath bungalow that sleeps ten with full-size washer and dryer on site, so show shirts can go straight into the machine at the end of a floor day instead of into a bag for a laundromat. It has a private driveway and a fenced backyard.
The Meet & Play House in Malibu Groves is 19 minutes from the convention center and the newest-built home in the portfolio. Two of its three bedrooms have a desk and an office chair, useful if someone on the team needs to print a revised sell sheet or answer email away from the show floor, and the attached garage gives you a locked spot for cases and banners overnight. It sleeps up to nine, and the game room with a pool table gives the group something to do together after a long day.
The Piedmont House in Washington Shores, 20 minutes from the convention center, is the one to ask about if a van or a trailer of booth material is coming with you: it has a concrete parking pad built to hold several vehicles. It has four bedrooms, three bathrooms and sleeps fourteen, so a bigger crew can spread out.
For a larger group still, the Head Avenue House in Pine Hills sleeps fifteen across six bedrooms and three bathrooms, with a desk for working from home and full-size in-unit laundry, 21 minutes from the convention center. The Dollins House, also 21 minutes away, has four bedrooms and sleeps thirteen on a shaded lot of mature oak trees. If your crew is smaller, the Sunset Lake House is a compact three-bedroom bungalow 20 minutes from the convention center and two minutes from Camping World Stadium, worth knowing if your trip lines up with a game or a concert downtown as well as the show. The Amelia House, also 20 minutes from the convention center, sits on the Parramore edge of downtown within walking distance of the Kia Center, a useful base if an evening client dinner ends up downtown rather than on International Drive.
The drive to the convention center
Every home in the portfolio reaches International Drive by the same two roads, SR-408 or I-4, the roads each neighborhood's own page already lists for getting around the metro. The Holden Heights, Malibu Groves and Washington Shores homes, on the downtown edge and in west Orlando, post the shortest drives to the convention center, 18 to 21 minutes. The four homes in Pine Hills run 21 to 24 minutes.
The chart below shows the exact drive time from every one of our thirteen homes to the convention center, without traffic.

Rosen Shingle Creek, ICON Park and the airport
Some shows split sessions between the Orange County Convention Center and Rosen Shingle Creek, a meeting and event property a few minutes down the same International Drive corridor, and a team flying in usually lands at Orlando International Airport before anything else happens. ICON Park, the observation wheel and entertainment strip on International Drive, sits on the same stretch of road and is a natural stop for a team dinner or a night off between show days.
Here is how those three compare across every home in the portfolio.

Typical road-routing times without traffic; Orlando rush hours add to the longer routes.
Fruit Tree Home is 18 minutes from Rosen Shingle Creek; the Amelia, Piedmont and Sunset Lake houses are all 19. For a team landing at the airport ahead of the show, Fruit Tree Home is the shortest drive at 26 minutes, with the Dollins and Sunset Lake houses close behind at 29. None of that changes which house fits your headcount or your parking, but if your trip includes a side session at Rosen Shingle Creek or a late arrival at the airport, it is worth weighing alongside the drive to the main venue.
What's in the house for a work week
Every home comes with the basics a booth team actually uses: furniture, made-up beds and linens, a kitchen stocked with cookware and dishes, a washer and dryer, Wi-Fi and private parking in a driveway, carport or parking pad. We confirm the exact list in writing when you book.
Exact inclusions vary a little by home and are confirmed in writing when you book.
For a crew running a show floor for several days, the kitchen matters more than people expect. Airport food and convention-center concessions add up fast across a group, and a house with a stove, a full-size refrigerator and real dishes means the first coffee of the day and the last meal of the night both happen at home instead of a hotel lobby. The Wi-Fi is ready before you check in, which covers everything from confirming a shipment tracking number to a video call with a colleague who could not make the trip.
Two of the homes add a genuine workspace. Meet. Play. Stay. has a desk and an office chair in two of its three bedrooms, and The Clue House has a desk set up for working from home. Neither is a conference room, but either gives someone on the team a quiet spot to print a revised order form or catch up on email away from the rest of the group.
Laundry matters more on a show trip than on most stays, since polos and branded shirts get worn hard over several days on a floor. Fruit Tree Home and The Clue House both have full-size washer and dryer on site, and Meet. Play. Stay. has a dedicated laundry room, so a wrinkled shirt on the last day of the show is a five-minute fix rather than a dry-cleaner run.
Booking and billing for the company
Most show-week stays are short, a handful of nights around setup, the floor days and teardown, and they run through each home's Airbnb or Vrbo listing or a direct inquiry to us, the same as any nightly booking. Book early: convention weeks are among the highest-demand nights in Orlando, and the closest homes go first.
If your company wants to be the one that books and pays rather than an employee, we write the agreement in the company's name and send an itemized receipt for the expense report. The first booking with us is paid up front regardless of company size. Established companies, agencies and event-production firms that book with us repeatedly, whether that is the same show every year or several trips across a year, can move to net-30 invoicing under a signed agreement or purchase order once that history is in place, and we provide a W-9 and a certificate of insurance on request, since Libema carries a commercial landlord liability policy.
If your team's Orlando work runs longer than one show, staffing a project or a series of events across a season, the same homes are available by the month on a written agreement, with the rate, deposit and pet policy confirmed in writing when you inquire. We do not publish rates on the site because they vary by home and by season; ask and we will have numbers back to you the same day.
Living near the venue during the show
Where the team eats and shops depends on which cluster your home sits in, and each of our four local area guides goes into more detail.
Downtown and the east side
From the Amelia House and the 25th Street House, it is a short drive to Church Street and the Mills 50 district for a real dinner out after a long show day instead of another meal on International Drive. Mills 50 holds the largest Vietnamese-American community in Florida, and the pho and banh mi along Mills Avenue are worth the drive. The Publix at The Paramount on Lake Eola, at 400 East Central Boulevard, is the downtown grocery run for coffee, snacks for the booth or breakfast before badge pickup.

The west side
From the Piedmont House, the Dollins House, the Sunset Lake House and the Meet & Play House, the everyday grocery run is the Publix at Metro West Village on South Hiawassee Road, and the soul food at Nikki's Place on South Orange Blossom Trail is a genuine Orlando institution worth a stop between show days. Lake Lorna Doone Park, a city park just north of Camping World Stadium, sits close to City and Stadium Sanctuary Vibes if anyone wants a walk before the floor opens.
If the team wants a night off the show floor entirely, ICON Park on International Drive sits on the same corridor as the convention center and Rosen Shingle Creek, close enough to fold into the drive back to the house after dinner.

Getting to the convention center is by car for every one of our homes; none of our transit options reach International Drive. Downtown is different. Amelia’s Arena Retreat and Fruit Tree Home sit near two SunRail stations, LYNX Central and Church Street, and the free LYMMO bus loop that circulates downtown all day, so an evening downtown can run without a car even when the show floor commute still needs one. Build the drive time from the chart above into your morning schedule, especially if the show floor opens early.
What guests said about staying for work
The reviews below are real, pulled verbatim from the home's own Airbnb listing with the guest's name and the month they stayed; the full wall for every home is on our reviews page.
"I enjoyed our stay at Michelle's. Everything was clean and nicely decorated."
"Everything was great during our stay! Accommodated a large group of people and had no issues."
"It was a great place to stay. Beds were confortable and there was enough room for all of us"
"It was convenient and affordable. Great host!"
Guests on a work trip say something similar in different homes. Carolyn, who stayed at the Katherine House in March 2025 with colleagues, wrote: 'A few of my colleagues and I had the pleasure of staying here for a work trip to the Orlando area. The location was perfect for us. The place was beautiful and just what we needed for our short stay.' That is close to the pattern a convention crew can expect: a whole house, a short stay, and a location picked for what is on the calendar instead of a hotel loyalty program.
What to have ready before you inquire
The teams who book fastest tend to have these answers ready.
- Your headcount and how you will split bedrooms. A small team fits comfortably in Fruit Tree Home or Meet. Play. Stay.; a crew that needs more room usually asks about The Clue House, Piedmont or Game Day Getaway-Downtown Orlando instead.
- What you are driving. If a van, a trailer or a box truck is coming with the booth, say so when you inquire. Every home has a private driveway, carport or parking pad, but pad sizes vary, and Piedmont's pad is built to hold several vehicles at once.
- Who is paying. The company directly, or an employee expensing it afterward. It changes whose name goes on the agreement and the receipt.
- Your dates, including setup and teardown. Most crews arrive a day or two before badge pickup and leave the morning after teardown; book those extra nights up front rather than trying to extend during a sold-out show week.
- Whether the trip includes Rosen Shingle Creek or International Drive. If sessions or a client dinner are split between venues, tell us and we can point you to the home with the easier combined drive.
- Laundry for show attire. If branded shirts need washing mid-week, Fruit Tree Home, The Clue House and Meet. Play. Stay. are the ones built for it.

Common questions.
How far are your homes from the convention center?
About 18 to 31 minutes by road via I-4, depending on the home. Fruit Tree Home, Meet. Play. Stay. and Amelia’s Arena Retreat are the closest.
Can the company book and pay?
Yes. We write the agreement in the company's name and provide receipts.
Can we book just show week?
Yes, through Airbnb, Vrbo or a direct inquiry. Big shows book early.
Is there room to park a van or a trailer for the booth materials?
Yes. Every home has private parking in a driveway, carport or parking pad, and Piedmont has a concrete pad built to hold several vehicles. Tell us what you are driving when you inquire, a van, a trailer or a box truck, and we will point you to the home with room for it. Crates and banners are usually easier to store inside the house overnight than left in a vehicle.
Can two smaller crews split across two homes for the same show?
Yes. Several of our homes sit in the same cluster, Pine Hills has four and Washington Shores has three, so two crews from the same company can each book a house in the same neighborhood and coordinate under one point of contact. Each home gets its own written agreement and its own rate; we can send both to the same billing contact if the company is paying for the whole trip.
Which home is closest if our show is at Rosen Shingle Creek instead of the convention center?
Fruit Tree Home is 18 minutes from Rosen Shingle Creek by road; the Amelia, Piedmont and Sunset Lake houses are all 19. Fruit Tree Home is also under 20 minutes from the Orange County Convention Center, at 18; the Amelia, Piedmont and Sunset Lake houses each run 20 minutes to the convention center itself. Any of the four works if your event splits sessions between the two venues.
Do you offer net-30 billing for a single show-week booking?
The first booking with us is paid up front, regardless of company size, since a show-week stay is usually a one-time visit. If your company sends teams to Orlando repeatedly, for the same show every year or for several events across a year, we can move future bookings to net-30 invoicing under a signed agreement or purchase order, with a W-9 and certificate of insurance on request.
Is there a desk in the house for prepping before the show floor opens?
Two homes have real desks. Meet. Play. Stay. has a desk and an office chair in two of its three bedrooms, and The Clue House has a desk set up for working from home. Neither is a conference room, but both give someone on the team a quiet spot to print a sell sheet or answer email away from the rest of the group.
Can we store booth crates and banners somewhere besides the van overnight?
Most homes have a private driveway, carport or parking pad rather than a garage, so crates usually come inside the house. Meet. Play. Stay. has an attached garage, and Entertainment Home has an attached one-car garage, both useful if you would rather lock up banners and cases than carry them in and out each night.
Tell us your dates and what brings you to Orlando.
We'll point you to the homes that fit, usually the same day. Nights, weeks or months.
