A soft landing while you settle into Orlando
Moving to Orlando? Take a furnished house for a month or two while you find the right neighborhood.
Buying or leasing sight-unseen is stressful. A furnished monthly home gives you a base to live from while you learn the city, tour neighborhoods, and close on the right place, with none of the pressure of a hotel clock or a year-long lease you're not ready to sign.
Learn the city first

What a house-hunting stay here looks like
Most people who book with us for a relocation are in the middle of a move: the old lease is up, the new job starts soon, and the house you want to buy or the apartment you want to sign is not ready yet. A furnished house rented by the month gives you somewhere to actually live while that gap closes, instead of stretching a hotel stay past its useful life or asking a friend for a spare room. You bring clothes and work files. The bed, the kitchen and the driveway are already there.
The process starts with your dates and a rough sense of where in Orlando you want to land. We point you to two or three homes that fit your household size and the part of the city you are aiming for, and confirm the monthly rate, deposit and pet policy in writing before you commit. You sign a written monthly agreement, pay the first month, and get arrival notes with the door code or lockbox location a few days before you move in. On moving day you let yourself in, and from there the house is yours to run: cook, do laundry, park in your own driveway, and come and go on your own schedule while you learn the city.
A relocation rarely runs on a fixed calendar. If the house hunt takes longer than planned, you tell us and we extend the agreement by the month at the same terms. If your closing date lands early, you give notice and move out on your own timeline instead of finishing out a lease you no longer need. Either way, the paperwork is a short email, not a new application.
One thing worth saying plainly: our homes are modest, renovated single-family houses in working-class and established neighborhoods on the west, northwest and downtown edges of Orlando. They are whole houses with their own kitchen, laundry, parking and front door, not new builds or high-rise units. Each home page lists the plain parts alongside the good ones, and we would rather you read that list before you book than be surprised by it after.
The homes that fit a relocation
Eight of our thirteen homes are set up for relocation and long-stay guests, sized from a two-bedroom for a couple to a six-bedroom for an extended family moving together.

The 25th Street House in Holden Heights is the closest of the eight to downtown, about 6 minutes by road, and 8 minutes from AdventHealth Orlando. It is a three-bedroom bungalow with two bathrooms, full-size laundry on site, fruit trees in the yard and a fenced backyard, a practical size for a couple or a small family who want to be near the city core while they look.
The Katherine House in Lockhart is the pick if your new job or new neighborhood points north, toward Altamonte Springs or Winter Park. It is the closest of our homes to AdventHealth Altamonte Springs, with a screened porch, a private driveway and a community park with a playground and courts a short walk from the door.
The Head Avenue House in Pine Hills is the largest option, six bedrooms and three bathrooms, sleeping up to fifteen, with a desk set up for working from home and full-size laundry. It suits a bigger family relocating together, or two households moving at once and sharing one address while each looks for something permanent.
Four more homes round out the group. The Amelia House sits on the Parramore edge of downtown, about 7 minutes from the city core and 9 from AdventHealth Orlando, with a bedroom that has its own attached bathroom. The Dollins House and the Piedmont House are both in Washington Shores on the west side, 7 and 11 minutes from downtown; Game Day Getaway-Downtown Orlando sleeps thirteen on a shaded lot of mature oaks, and Piedmont sleeps fourteen with a parking pad that fits several vehicles. The Cozy House in Pine Hills is a simple three-bedroom near the Central Florida Fairgrounds. The Wekiwa House is the smallest and most compact of the eight, a two-bedroom, two-bathroom house on the far west side near Wekiwa Springs, a good fit for one or two people who do not need the extra room.
Learning the map before you settle
Three places matter most while you get your bearings: downtown Orlando, where the offices, courts and city services sit; AdventHealth Orlando, the regional hospital system and one of the area's largest employers; and Universal Orlando, both a major employer and the corridor most visitors come to see. If your new job points to one of them, the drive matters right away. If not, it still helps to see the distances mapped out before you commit to a longer lease somewhere in the city.

Downtown sits at the center of that map, and our homes reach it in 6 to 17 minutes by road without traffic, depending on which of the eight you book. Fruit Tree Home and Game Day Getaway-Downtown Orlando are the closest, both about 6 to 7 minutes away; Wekiwa Home on the far west side is the longest drive, about 17 minutes. AdventHealth Orlando runs a similarly tight range, 8 to 16 minutes from the same eight homes, since its Rollins Street campus sits just north of the downtown core.
Universal Orlando is the outlier, and it is worth knowing before you choose a home. Drive times run from 13 minutes at Piedmont and Fruit Tree Home to 26 minutes at WinterPark Home, since the resort corridor sits southwest of the city and our homes cluster on the downtown, northwest and west edges instead. If a job at Universal is part of the move, Piedmont and Fruit Tree Home are the closest at 13 minutes each, with Amelia’s Arena Retreat, The Clue House and Cozy Home at 14 to 16 minutes.

Typical road-routing times without traffic; Orlando rush hours add to the longer routes.
Every drive time here is by road without traffic. Orlando's rush hours add to the longer routes, and SR-408 and I-4, the two highways most of these drives use, are tolled, so a SunPass or E-PASS transponder is worth having if you are here more than a few weeks.
What's already in the house
Movers can take weeks to schedule, and a closing date can slide past the day you planned to be settled. None of that has to stop daily life. Every one of our homes comes furnished and ready to live in the day you arrive: beds made up with linens, a kitchen you can cook in, and a washer and dryer so laundry does not wait for a storage unit to open.
Exact inclusions vary a little by home and are confirmed in writing when you book.

The exact inclusions are confirmed in writing when you book, but the pattern holds across the portfolio: a full kitchen with a stove, oven, refrigerator, cookware and dishes, so you are not eating out every night while you watch a moving budget; Wi-Fi from day one for job paperwork, school registration calls and house-hunting research; and private parking, a driveway, carport or parking pad, so a second car or a small moving trailer has somewhere to sit.
Room count matters more for a relocation than for a short trip, because you may be housing more than the people on the lease. The Clue House sleeps up to fifteen across six bedrooms, useful if extended family is moving together or two households are sharing one address for a month. Piedmont and Game Day Getaway-Downtown Orlando sleep fourteen and thirteen. At the other end, Wekiwa Home is a two-bedroom built for one or two people who do not need the extra space and would rather pay for less of it.
Billing while you look for a permanent address
Some relocation guests pay for the stay themselves. Others have an employer relocation package, a company HR department, or a relocation coordinator handling the housing piece of the move. Either way, the agreement is written the same way: it names the home, the dates, the monthly rate and the deposit, and if a company is paying, we can put the agreement in the company's name with you as the occupant.
For an employer or relocation coordinator paying on your behalf, we invoice monthly and provide a W-9 and a certificate of insurance on request, since Libema carries a commercial landlord liability policy. Established companies can be billed on net-30 terms under a signed agreement or purchase order once the first booking is paid. The monthly rate itself is never published on the site, since it varies by home and season; it is confirmed in writing as soon as you tell us your dates.
If you are bringing a dog or a cat while you look for a permanent place, say so early. Several of our homes accept pets, and the policy and any deposit are confirmed in writing before you commit, alongside the rest of the agreement.
Extensions are simple by design, because a house hunt rarely finishes on schedule. Tell us as soon as you know the search or the closing is running long, and we extend the agreement by the month at the same terms. If the home is already booked for the following month, we say so early rather than leaving you to find something on short notice.
Getting to know the neighborhoods
A month or two in a furnished house is also a chance to live somewhere before you decide to buy or lease there long-term, which tells you more than a weekend of open houses. Our eight relocation homes sit in three parts of Orlando: the downtown edge, in Parramore and Holden Heights; northwest Orlando, across Pine Hills, Rosemont, Lockhart and Hiawassee; and west Orlando, in Washington Shores.

The downtown edge, home to the Amelia House and the 25th Street House, is the most walkable of the three. The compact Publix at The Paramount on Lake Eola is the downtown grocery, two SunRail stations put you on the regional rail line, and the free LYMMO bus circulates the core. College Park, one of Orlando's most established close-in neighborhoods, sits a short drive north along Edgewater Drive.
Northwest Orlando, where the Head Avenue House, the Katherine House, the Cozy House and the Wekiwa House sit, is the most spread out, with the international grocers along Pine Hills Road, the Central Florida Fairgrounds, and Barnett Park's splash pad and walking trails. It is also the greenest corner of the portfolio: Wekiwa Springs State Park is about 18 minutes north of Wekiwa Home, a clear spring you can swim or paddle.
West Orlando, around the Dollins House and the Piedmont House in Washington Shores, sits close to Camping World Stadium and downtown, with generous lots and easy parking rather than a walkable center. All three areas run on a car outside the downtown edge, and SR-408 and I-4 connect them in minutes.
What guests said about settling in
The reviews below are real, pulled verbatim from the homes' own Airbnb listings, with the guest's name and the month they stayed. The full wall for every home is on our reviews page.
"The house was great and clean would recommend"
"Great Stay! Thank you for hosting! Would definitely book again!"
"My stay was very good. Close to everywhere without the traffic. My family and I was safe and felt at home."
"Great host, very communicative and cute house 20ish minutes to international drive!"
The theme that comes up across the portfolio, in different words, is feeling settled rather than just housed. Zayra, who stayed at the Cozy House in March 2025, wrote: 'Amazing host ,very clean ,comfortable, good neighborhood me and my family loved it' That is close to what a relocation stay is meant to do.
A checklist before you inquire
The relocations that go smoothest tend to have a few things sorted out before the first email.
- Your target area. Downtown, northwest Orlando or the west side, and whether a job at AdventHealth Orlando or Universal Orlando is part of the decision.
- Household size and pets. How many bedrooms you need, and whether a dog or cat is coming; several homes accept pets with the policy confirmed in writing.
- Your timeline, loosely. A closing date or a lease start you expect to hit, and how much it might slip. We plan extensions around that from the start.
- Who is paying. You directly, or an employer relocation package or coordinator who needs the agreement written in a company's name.
- A car. Outside the downtown edge you will want one; every home has private parking, so the only ongoing cost is tolls on SR-408 and I-4.
- The plain parts. Each home page lists what to expect: older houses, modest yards, one bathroom in a few of them, so there are no surprises on move-in day.
Send us that list with your dates and we typically come back the same day with two or three homes that fit, real photos, and the drive time from each to the places that matter to you.

Common questions.
How long can we stay?
As long as you need. Most relocation guests stay one to three months while they house-hunt.
Do we need to bring furniture?
No. The homes are furnished and set up for daily living from day one.
Can we tour before booking?
Reach out and we'll walk you through photos, details, and availability for each home.
Is this cheaper than a hotel?
For stays of a month or more, a whole furnished house is usually far better value than a hotel, and far more livable.
Can our employer or a relocation coordinator pay for the stay?
Yes. We can write the monthly agreement in the company's name with you as the occupant, invoice monthly, and provide a W-9 and a certificate of insurance on request. Established companies can be billed on net-30 terms under a signed agreement or purchase order once the first booking is paid.
Can we bring a pet while we look for a permanent home?
Several of our homes accept pets. The policy and any deposit are confirmed in writing before you commit, alongside the rate and the monthly agreement, so there is nothing left to sort out after you move in. Tell us early so we can match you to a home that fits.
What happens if our closing date changes and we need more time?
Tell us as soon as you know. We extend the written agreement by the month at the same terms, and if the home is already booked for the next guest, we say so early so you are never scrambling on short notice.
Which part of Orlando should we look at first?
It depends on your job and your budget for the drive. Homes on the downtown edge reach the city core in 6 to 7 minutes; northwest Orlando is closest to AdventHealth Altamonte and the Fairgrounds; west Orlando sits near Camping World Stadium with more room to park. Tell us your priorities and we will point you to the right cluster.
Do you have a home big enough for our whole family, including relatives who are moving with us?
Yes. The Clue House sleeps up to fifteen across six bedrooms and three bathrooms, and Piedmont and Game Day Getaway-Downtown Orlando sleep fourteen and thirteen. All three work for an extended family or two households moving together under one roof.
Do we need a car, or can we get around without one?
Outside the downtown edge, plan on a car. Amelia’s Arena Retreat and Fruit Tree Home are close to two SunRail stations and the free LYMMO bus downtown; everywhere else in the portfolio, including all of northwest and west Orlando, is easiest to manage with your own vehicle.
Tell us your dates and what brings you to Orlando.
We'll point you to the homes that fit, usually the same day. Nights, weeks or months.
