The only downside was that the vacuum cleaner was dead so we were unable to clean the floors before leaving. Also our uber driver told us to get inside quickly because apparently we were in a dangerous part of town."

"This listing is NOT like the photos. Completely run down and could use a face lift. Encountered many Bugs- including a frog in the toilet, wasps outside, silverfish & many ROACHES inside. The bedding had many stains, the dishwasher reeked of mold, and the bathtub had a ring of dirt in it. The host offered to send out an exterminator on day 6 of my 8 day stay, but that was not going to solve the issue. She also offered me a different place to stay (which was nice) but not at all convenient or solved my problem as I had booked for downtown Orlando and the new listing was in downtown Wekiwa Springs; not the direction I was traveling on this stay. She wasn’t willing to let me check out early or return my money for the unused days when confronted with all the issues. I had to escalate to AirBnB. It was so bad I ended up leaving & booking a new Airbnb. Unbelievable she has so many good reviews- it’s a dump & there were no fruits to pick; this listing is a scam. I had pics to prove everything"

But there were a handful of broken items in the house, neighborhood was not great, and the backyard was not nice. When entering You have to wake the lock device to see the numbers to press by touching the middle of the screen. Seems obvious after you figure that out but caused us some stress. King bed is very comfortable and master bath is lovely. Other beds are more basic but fine for kids. They had plenty of clean towels and bedding. Everything was easy. Really our only problem was not enough cups/plates/silverware. No pans for the oven. No oven mitts. Only four seats at the dining room table. For how many people this home sleeps they need more kitchen stuff. Otherwise great experience and i would recommend!"

"Our experience was mixed; I booked this for my family for my wedding. The good: The location is close to downtown Orlando, it is a good place for a group, lots of sleeping options, a nice grill outside, the fridge had complimentary drinks, and the instructions were clear! The bad: not a good neighborhood for children, lots of homeless around, a man was shooting up on the other side of the driveway. The house can accommodate a large party, but there are only 6 sets of eating cutlery, so bring your own. They were kind to let us check in early, I paid $25, and was told we'd recieve the code by 11am, with a noon check-in. At 12:30 I had not gotten the code and asked for it again. When we got the code, the lock was dead (not their fault). he came within 2 hours to fix it. But most notably, why I say it is not good for kids, the backyard is not maintained. Broken tile/wood, many fire aunts, and a few dead animals. A rotting frog in an open tub. overall, good for a group of adults."

"Michelle’s space is not too far from the Orlando airport. The fruit trees are nice as well as the indoor decorations. Beds were comfortable. Would not recommend to anyone with chemical sensitivities. 2 very strong fragrance plug ins were present. They had to be removed and taken outside and all the windows open for most of our stay to be able to breathe/tolerate being in the location. It was a Friday night and more than one neighbor had music blaring until past 1am."

The sink also stops up in that bathroom. There’s a very strong mildew smell when we first entered so we had to spray. "Close proximity to central fair grounds where the event I attended was located. Place was clean with no significant issues of note that would discourage future use. Place is as advertised no discernible discrepancies between listing and place. The rental pricing was reasonable. Host is courteous and responsive to messages. Hot water heater is on a timer so would have to check before showing I forgot to do so once and learned that the hard way. Master shower did not get that hot and shower water handle had to be turned gently otherwise it felt like it might break off. Needed to put a towel on master bathroom floor when showering to reduce water that would splash on floor when showering. Smart A/C system would raise temperature of place at times so would need to check constantly to ensure it’s at desired temperature (I run hot so I like it cold. Once temperature is set would like it to stay at that setting so when I return to place I don’t have to wait hours to cool back to desired temperature)."

"Over all a nice home, however it could use some maintenance & work on certain details. There was stains on guest bathroom tub & noticeable cracks around the tub that had caulking to overlook it but it was extremely noticeable to the inside of tub. Both bathrooms were dirty with buildup , like it hadn’t been swept in a long time. Extremely dirty underneath beds & furniture, as well as kitchen & living room. One of my guests found roaches & bugs in bonus room. And in master bedroom the pillow cases smelled like cigarettes. Also water heater did not seem to work, no hot water in main bathroom at all even after the water heater was turned on as instructed. And the door for guest bathroom was hard to get it to close. The home was convenient for us for our trip, but was a bit disappointing from what we expected from pictures…However hosts were very attentive & responded in a timely manner during our stay which was great!"

"So upon booking and checking in things were smooth. My family and I (10 persons) were forced to check out of this place in the middle of the night. A little after midnight my family members got in and was ready to take a shower and the bathroom had tiny bugs all over the floor as well as mold on some of the walls throughout the house. I contacted the host around 1:40 am and I was asked if I would like the Iva to be sprayed by maintenance, I declined and left. My husband is currently an end stage renal patient and my cousins are asthmatic so being in a house filled with mold and possible bug spray wouldn’t be ideal for them. I was charged a night stay, as well as,cleaning fee for a dirty place. I am truly disappointed in how this matter was handled and I am doing this review not to blast anyone but to make othersaware of things that they should pay attention to while booking these stays. I wish I could attach all the photos so I could show exactly what the above description looks like."

Small park with a lake close by, ideal for a walk, but don't think about wild swimming - there could be allegators in there! Hi tech and responsive aircon (in the house, not the park). Close to grocery stores, fuel and post office - all the holiday needs on hand. Silverware was enough, but not plentiful - Not a reflection on the hosts, I suspect previous tenants have pinched some."

Water was not hot and after 2 showers that morning I hot water at all. Closets very disorganized and not clean. Sheets in bedroom stored looks like someone just rolled up and put up in the closet. "Michelle's place was a great location to visit Wekiva springs, Lake Apopka wildlife drive and an easy drive to downtown Orlando. It was impeccably clean and very stylishly decorated. We appreciated the drinks in the fridge, lots of towels and bathroom supplies (though no shower toiletries). The mattresses were great and the area during the night very quiet. It is an older neighborhood with friendly people near a mixed use area. The kitchen had basic dishes for about 4-5 people and some pans. For stables there was coffee and sugar. So, if you want to do any involved cooking you would need to bring some basic stuff. There is also a brand new washing machine and dryer which came in very handy. We liked our stay there and would stay again."

The neighborhood felt unsafe. There is an abandoned house nearby, and all surrounding houses are single-story. In the evening, I did not feel comfortable going outside. The drive to Universal and Disney parks takes about 35–45 minutes, which is quite long. The house was dirty. The floors were so dirty that I had to wash them myself, the color of the water clearly showed this. There was a strong unpleasant, musty smell inside the house. After two days, our clothes became damp. The bed linen was dirty. I am attaching photos as evidence. There was no kettle in the kitchen. The toaster was present but not working. After I informed the hosts about the broken toaster, the absence of a kettle, and issues with the bed linen, the previously fast and friendly communication stopped. I received a message from the hosts only on the day of departure, asking me to put the white towels into the washing machine, start the wash, and inform them of our check-out time. They asked me to leave a rating of 10. Some kitchen cabinets do not open. Only soap were provided. There were disposable cups and lids, but they did not fit each other at all. Only two glass mugs and four chairs were available. I felt uncomfortable staying there and would not recommend this place."

"Overall I’d give my stay a 2.5 out of 5. My biggest issue was the price compared to the location. For what they’re charging, I expected a much better experience. We also had issues with the door keypad from the moment we arrived and throughout the stay. The host was responsive, which I appreciate, but having repeated problems getting into the Airbnb was frustrating. I also asked about checking in a little earlier Friday and checking out a little later Sunday, roughly 6–8 extra hours total, and was quoted $225 extra, which I thought was excessive considering the price and location. The biggest concern was the surrounding area. One night, two random cars showed up with people outside the property, and the situation made us uncomfortable enough that I had to call the police. The property itself was fine inside, but between the price, location, keypad issues, extra fees, and safety concerns, I personally don’t think the stay was worth what we paid."

"We stay in Airbnbs a lot for work. I never leave a bad review. This is more of a warning to other guests. First the good:Bathrooms are updated, and the beds were comfortable. Not so good: first thing was that they charge by the person and said it was for cleaning purposes. 4 of us but house sleeps 12. Cleaning should be for all rooms no matter the count. We travel for work and are gone several weeks at a time,our husbands may come to stay for a weekend so charging $300 more felt ridiculous. We have NEVER encountered a problem with that. There were roaches and the floors were dirty. cleaning supplies were out but We were told we can't use it. Ceilings leak. The neighborhood is dirty and run down. The area did not feel safe, but we didn't encounter any issues. There are no stores or restaurants nearby. No one wanted to play the clue game they offer cause of threats of charges if pieces were moved. Not enjoyable. Felt like we couldn't relax. So we will not be renting from host again."

"I booked this place last minute, so I couldn’t find many other options. The host was very responsive and communicated well, which I appreciated. However, the house itself was not very clean and had an unpleasant smell. All the towels seemed used and were dirty. There were also red ants all over the place, and I ended up getting ant bites because of it. In addition, there were some bugs inside the house. Comfy beds, hot showers with great water pressure (in the master I swear it created wind lol), great tvs, activities, etc. Bonus: Dog friendly with a fully privacy fenced in yard. They even have a poo pick up station with bags and a trash bin out in the yard. Minor gaps under if you have really small pups so worth noting. I had a weird account issue with VRBO and this host could have just been like “oh well” but nope - they worked with me and VRBO to get it resolved and helped this Mom make sure we had a safe clean welcoming place to stay! We went to Orlando for a soccer game at Campin World Stadium, Croatia vs Brazil, and we originally planned to just rent two hotel rooms. But then I found this house and it's only 5 minutes from the stadium!! AMAZING!! And! It was cheaper than two basic hotel rooms! The home is beautiful, clean and loaded with fun things The shower was very nice and they even provide shower gel, shampoo, dish soap, etc. which is not always the case in rentals. If I have to give a negative, the beds were a little too soft for our liking, but thats simply a personal preference. But who cares? We were busy eating amazing food around town, having a blast at the game, and playing pool when were at the house. We would DEFINITELY100% stay there afgain if we were in Orlando!!! Als wir Abends zurückgekommen sind, lag wieder eine Kakerlake in den Zimmer auf dem Rücken. Wir haben das Zimmer dann nicht benutzt und die Kakerlage dort liegen lassen. Am Abreisetag lag dann auch noch eine weitere tote Kakerlake in der Küche. Wir haben uns somit dort nicht wirklich wohl gefühlt."

"I have mix reviews. First, I have to say that even though the place is at a guetto neighborhood it is a quiet place. The shower is a plus you feel like you are getting a massage. The place is clean. My complaints is that the bed sheets for my kids room were stained and is unpleasant even if they are clean. It doesn’t cost much to buy decent bed sheets. One of the beds did not have a blanket. The living room sofa looks old and dusty. The amount that I paid was not worth the place 800 dollars is more accurate."

"I liked the homely vibe and how the owners were super helpful throughout when our microwave wasn't working. It was overall a very comfortable house and good value for money. The location isn't ideal, if you're planning on visiting Disney and Universal it's pretty far from those locations and the area itself doesn't have much to do, so if you're not coming for the location or have a car then it's worth it. The televisions didn't really work but since we didn't use them anyways its wasn't a problem."

There was no response from the host for HOURS when I asked what could be done after messaging them on the app, and calling/texting the personal number they provided. I reached out to Airbnb to assist, and they told me they’d call the Host but it was their discretion to offer more of a refund than what the cancellation policy allowed. The Host finally got back to me an hour before checkin time and said they had no control of offering anything more than what the policy allows and told me Airbnb has full control and to contact them. Speaking with Airbnb again, they said this was not true and the host could refund more than policy dictated. I asked the host to confirm if this was true, and they skillfully avoided answering the question and sent me back to Airbnb. Since it took the host past checkin to respond, and refused to acknowledge their refund ability of truthfully answer, the checkin time elapsed and I lost more"

"Overall a solid Airbnb to stay. No issues with the place. We stayed for one night only and it was good. Four stars because the experience was very corporate like and didn’t feel like typical Airbnb host and guest experience where you feel well accommodated despite the fact that there were 3 hosts available for the listing"

"The place was as described and they accommodated us with flexible check in and check out times. We did have trouble getting into the place, but were able to reach the hosts for help. Lots of space and nice interior, wasn’t the cleanest though (there were dust spiders). It was spacious and nice for my guests and I. Also really close to the parks and stadium that our concert was at. Overall good experience and friendly hosts."

"The home was beautiful, decorated nicely. We didn't spend a lot of time there, because of the conference we were attending.The fridge stocked with water etc. Our concern as 4 women alone, was the neighborhood. We checked in around 12a and was shocked by the neighborhood, the road was tore up, city working them, and the grass had not been cut. When I asked someone about the area, they said a lot of homeless lives in that area, but they are revitalizing it, but we never felt threatened."

"Cozy home. No living area. Screens were broken. Floor is peeling up. Lights and plugs would randomly stop working. Pictures would fall off the wall. Found 2 roaches. This a duplex, and it was not communicated. An unpleasant surprise. Also it is not in a tourist friendly area."
