01The employer

Verizon runs a corporate resources and operations center in the Lake Mary corridor, part of an Orlando-area workforce of roughly 1,100. Telecom operations and the technology behind them bring project teams, relocating staff and training cohorts through on defined schedules.

02Who needs housing here

A relocating employee, a technology team in for a program, an onboarding cohort. Each needs documented monthly housing with receipts that clear a corporate expense system.

03How our homes fit

WinterPark Home in Lockhart is the closest of our homes to the Lake Mary corridor; the table below shows the drive from every home. Each has private parking, a desk-friendly setup and a written monthly agreement.

04The Lake Mary corridor

Verizon's Lake Mary site sits inside a wider office corridor along the north side of Seminole County, the same stretch of Lake Mary and Heathrow that several other large employers use for back-office, technology and customer-service work. Chase Card Services, Concentrix, Bank of America, Liberty Mutual Group, BNY Mellon | Pershing and Mitsubishi Power Americas all keep offices in the same area, so a Verizon assignment often means sharing the corridor, and some of its traffic, with people commuting to those companies too.

None of our homes sit inside Lake Mary itself; all thirteen are Orlando houses to the south, in Orange County, so every stay here starts with a drive. The choice of home still matters for an assignment up here: a few minutes of difference at the start compounds twice a day, five days a week, for as long as the assignment runs.

The corridor's mix of finance, telecom and technology offices means the same request comes up again and again from relocation coordinators and program managers: a defined start date, a documented monthly rate, and receipts that clear a corporate accounting system. Verizon's relocations and project teams follow that same pattern, and we set up the written agreement the same way for each one, regardless of which company's name is on it. A relocation that starts at Verizon usually ends the way most of these stays do here: month by month, on one written agreement, until the assignment itself wraps up.

05The homes closest to the campus

Seven of our homes are under thirty minutes from Lake Mary by road, and the rest of the thirteen run from there up to thirty-two. The three closest, shown below, sleep from eight to ten between them, enough for one traveler, a couple, or several colleagues sharing one address.

WinterPark Home in Lockhart is the closest at 19 minutes: a three-bedroom, one-bathroom block home with a keypad lock on the front door, a screened porch with room for a grill, and a renovated kitchen with stainless steel appliances, quartz-look counters and a tile backsplash, stocked with cookware, dishes and a coffee maker. It is a modest, older concrete-block house, like much of Lockhart, with wood-look plank flooring throughout and a private concrete driveway. Fruit Tree Home in Holden Heights follows at 26 minutes, a three-bedroom, two-bathroom bungalow with full-size laundry on site, keyless entry and a glass-top dining table that seats four, on a quiet residential block south of downtown. It is a modest older bungalow too, small and plain but clean and comfortable. Amelia’s Arena Retreat in Parramore is 27 minutes away, a four-bedroom house with two updated bathrooms, one of them attached to a bedroom, granite-look stone countertops in the kitchen, and a fenced backyard under mature shade trees; the exterior stucco shows some patching, typical of the working-class blocks this portfolio sits on. All three have their own private driveway.

Minutes by road without traffic, from the drive-time matrix.

Rounding out the seven under thirty minutes, Game Day Getaway-Downtown Orlando, Downtown & Stadium Cozy Retreat and City and Stadium Sanctuary Vibes each run 28 minutes, and Wekiwa Home is 29. Past the thirty-minute mark, The Clue House and Meet. Play. Stay. are 30; Entertainment Home and Cozy Home are 31; and Piedmont is 32. Every figure is a road-routing time without traffic, and Orlando's rush hours add to the longer ones.

06Where the homes sit around the corridor

The map places Lake Mary at the center and plots each of our thirteen homes around it by drive time. Lake Mary sits north of Orlando in Seminole County, so the whole spread of pins falls south of center, and the pattern among them tracks the neighborhoods more than the compass: the Lockhart and Rosemont homes, WinterPark Home and The Clue House, already sit toward the north side of our footprint before any highway is added, while the Parramore, Holden Heights, Washington Shores, Pine Hills and Malibu Groves clusters sit closer to the middle of the metro.

Each home is placed in its true compass direction from Verizon (Lake Mary); distance from the centre is the drive time by road, not miles.

That is the short version of why WinterPark Home's time is the lowest of the thirteen on the chart above, and why homes that are otherwise convenient for downtown or the stadium district, like Amelia’s Arena Retreat and Piedmont, carry a few extra minutes here. Our Lockhart, Parramore and Holden Heights neighborhood pages describe each cluster in more depth. The same pattern explains the table below: two homes can share a neighborhood and still show slightly different minutes, since the routing depends on which street feeds the nearest highway ramp.

07The route up I-4

Wherever a stay starts, the last stretch to Lake Mary runs north on I-4. From Lockhart, WinterPark Home already faces that direction: the neighborhood sits along US-441 with I-4 a short hop away, so the drive to Lake Mary continues the same line the area already runs on. From the downtown-edge and west-side clusters, the route has to reach I-4 first, whether by cutting through downtown from Parramore and Holden Heights or by picking up SR-408 from Washington Shores and Pine Hills, which accounts for most of the extra minutes those homes carry.

None of the times on this page account for traffic. I-4 through the northern suburbs carries a full share of Orlando's rush-hour volume in both directions, so a normal daytime start and an evening return both add time on top of the road-routing figures above. None of our homes sit close enough to a train or bus line to make transit a realistic way to reach Lake Mary, so plan on a car for the whole stay. Parking at these three is never the problem: WinterPark Home, Fruit Tree Home and Amelia’s Arena Retreat each have their own private driveway, so coming home from a late shift or a long training day means pulling straight in, not hunting for street parking. Parking setups vary by home elsewhere in the portfolio, from a driveway or carport to a parking pad or an attached garage, and each home's own page lists exactly what it has.

08A month for relocating staff

A network, operations or finance employee relocating in, or a manager transferring between sites, is usually one or two people settling into a routine that has to hold for weeks or months, not days. A furnished house answers a different set of questions than a hotel room does: the beds are made up and the kitchen is stocked from the first night, laundry is done at home instead of a lobby machine, and there is a driveway for a car that will run the same two commutes a day for a while.

WinterPark Home

WinterPark Home suits this kind of stay well: a quiet three-bedroom house on a residential street, with a community park and a playground a short walk away for anyone who has brought family along. A laptop for an evening call or a stack of paperwork works fine at the kitchen or dining table in any of the three homes closest to the campus; The Clue House, farther away in Pine Hills, is the one with a dedicated desk in a bedroom if that detail outweighs the extra minutes on the drive. Our Pine Hills & Northwest Orlando area guide covers the groceries, parks and gyms near WinterPark Home and The Clue House block by block, useful once the moving boxes are unpacked and daily errands start.

09Housing a project team or a training cohort

When Verizon or a staffing partner sends more than one person on the same schedule, one house on one agreement is usually simpler to manage than separate hotel rooms on separate bills. Fruit Tree Home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms and sleeps up to ten, room enough for a small technology team or a training cohort to split into pairs without waiting on one bathroom every morning. Amelia’s Arena Retreat sleeps up to eight across four bedrooms, and one of those bedrooms has its own attached bathroom, useful when two people on the trip keep different hours. One guest who booked WinterPark Home for exactly this kind of trip put it plainly: "A few of my colleagues and I had the pleasure of staying here for a work trip to the Orlando area. The location was perfect for us. The place was beautiful and just what we needed for our short stay. Michelle was amazing as well. She goes above and beyond in regard to communication to ensure our stay went smoothly from check-in to check-out." (Carolyn, Roswell, Georgia, March 2025)

One written agreement can name the company, the group and the dates, with a single monthly rate for the whole house instead of a room-by-room bill. If a training cycle or a program's timeline slips, the extension works the same way it would for one person: give notice before the current month ends, and we hold the following month at the same terms where we can.

Every home comes furnished from the first night: beds made up with linens, a kitchen stocked with cookware and dishes, a washer and dryer, and Wi-Fi already connected. Off-street parking is there for most of the thirteen: a driveway, a carport, a parking pad or an attached garage, depending on the house. WinterPark Home, Fruit Tree Home and Amelia’s Arena Retreat, the three closest to Lake Mary, each have their own private driveway. Guests let themselves in with keyless entry or a lockbox, and arrival notes with the code or key location arrive a few days before check-in. Exact inclusions are confirmed in writing when you book, whether the agreement is in an employee's name or the company's. Pet policies vary by home; several of our thirteen accept pets, and the policy and any deposit are confirmed in writing before you commit.

The three homes closest to Lake Mary are ordinary residential houses, and none of them has a pool. Bed and bath counts are the counts published on each home's own page, and a sofa is never counted as a bed. All three, WinterPark Home, Fruit Tree Home and Amelia’s Arena Retreat, publish a street address on the site, part of the six homes in the portfolio that do; the other six publish a neighborhood and zip code instead, with the exact address shared at booking.

11Billing for a corporate relocation

Corporate stays run on a written agreement instead of a stack of nightly hotel receipts. The agreement and the monthly invoice can be put in the company's name, which is usually what a relocation coordinator or a program manager needs to route the cost through a corporate expense system. A W-9 and a certificate of insurance are available on request; Libema carries a commercial landlord liability policy. Whatever the payer, the agreement itself stays the same document: it names the home, the dates, the rate and the deposit, so everyone works from the same page regardless of who ultimately pays it.

Established companies, staffing agencies and insurers can set up net-30 terms on a signed agreement or a purchase order, so the invoice is paid after the stay begins; a first booking is paid up front while that paperwork is arranged. Extensions run month by month at the same terms. Our corporate housing and relocation housing pages cover the paperwork side further, and our remote worker housing page covers a contractor whose Verizon project work is not tied to a fixed office schedule. Two of our guides go deeper into the paperwork itself:

14Common questions

Which home is closest to Lake Mary?

WinterPark Home in Lockhart. The table on this page shows the drive time from all thirteen homes.

Can a project team share a house?

Yes. Our larger homes suit a team of three to six on one monthly agreement.

Are you affiliated with Verizon?

No. Libema Properties is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by Verizon.

Can the stay be billed directly to Verizon or a relocation company?

Yes. The written agreement and the monthly invoice can be put in the company's name, with itemized receipts a corporate expense system can process. A W-9 and a certificate of insurance are available on request. Established companies, agencies and insurers can also set up net-30 terms on a signed agreement or a purchase order; a first booking is paid up front while that is arranged. This is the most common setup for the relocations and project teams we house near this corridor.

What happens if a project or training schedule at Lake Mary runs longer than planned?

Extensions run month by month. Tell us before the current month ends and we will hold the following month at the same terms where we can. This is the same policy whether the agreement is with an individual employee, a project team, or the company itself. We prefer to know as soon as a new end date looks likely, not after the current agreement has already ended, so the next month can be held before the calendar fills up.

Is there a desk or workspace at the homes closest to Lake Mary?

Each of the three closest homes, WinterPark Home, Fruit Tree Home and Amelia’s Arena Retreat, has a kitchen or dining table that works for a laptop between commutes. The Clue House, farther away in Pine Hills, is the one home in that cluster with a dedicated desk in a bedroom, if that matters more than the extra minutes on the drive.

Why is WinterPark Home closer to Lake Mary than the homes near downtown Orlando?

WinterPark Home sits in Lockhart, already on the northern side of the metro along the road that continues toward Altamonte Springs and on to Lake Mary. Amelia’s Arena Retreat and Fruit Tree Home sit close to downtown itself, so reaching Lake Mary means traveling back north first, which adds several minutes even though both are closer to the city center. The chart above shows the exact minutes for all thirteen homes.

Can two colleagues on the same assignment share a house and still get separate space?

Yes. Amelia’s Arena Retreat has four bedrooms and one has its own attached bathroom, so two colleagues can share the cost of the house while keeping their own bathroom. It sleeps up to eight in total, which also works for a small family joining a longer relocation. WinterPark Home and Fruit Tree Home suit one traveler or a couple who do not need that extra privacy.

Do you offer anything shorter than a month for a quick trip to the Lake Mary office?

Yes. Nightly and weekly stays run through each home's Airbnb and Vrbo listing, which suits a short trip or an interview. A monthly stay booked directly with us, on a written agreement, is the better fit once a relocation, a program or a training cycle runs past a couple of weeks. Either way, the same home and the same kitchen are available; only the paperwork and the length of stay change.
