Housing near Truist
One of the country's largest banks, with branches, commercial teams and wealth offices spread across the Orlando metro.
01The employer
Truist was formed by the merger of BB&T and SunTrust and is one of the largest banks in the United States, with a deep Southeast footprint. In the Orlando metro it runs retail branches alongside commercial banking, wealth and operations teams, and the Orlando Economic Partnership counts roughly 2,600 of its people across the region.
Retail branches, commercial banking and wealth offices across Central Florida, anchored downtown on Orange Avenue.
02Who needs housing here
Banks move people the way most large employers do: a relocation into a new role, a project team brought in for a systems integration, a cohort of management trainees on a program. Each of those arrives with a start date and a relocation or project budget, and each needs documented housing for a month or more rather than an open-ended lease.
- Bankers and specialists relocating into a Central Florida role
- Technology and operations teams on system-integration projects
- Management trainees and new-graduate hires
- Commercial and wealth staff on temporary assignment
03How our homes fit
Fruit Tree Home in Holden Heights and the other downtown-edge homes are the closest of the thirteen to the Orange Avenue financial district; the drive from every home is in the table below. A whole furnished house with private parking and a monthly agreement fits a banking relocation far better than a nightly hotel bill.
04The homes closest to downtown
Truist's branches, commercial teams and wealth offices in Orlando center on the Orange Avenue financial district downtown. Four of our thirteen homes post the shortest drives to that address: Fruit Tree Home in Holden Heights at about 4 minutes, Game Day Getaway-Downtown Orlando in Washington Shores at about 9, and Amelia’s Arena Retreat on the Parramore edge of downtown and City and Stadium Sanctuary Vibes in Washington Shores tied at about 10 each. The exact drive from every home is in the table below; here is what each of the four offers.

Fruit Tree Home is the closest at about 4 minutes from Truist's downtown location. It is a three-bedroom, two-bathroom bungalow in Holden Heights with a full-size washer and dryer, keyless entry and a screened front porch, and it carries 142 Airbnb reviews at a 4.83 rating, the most of any home we have. Its small bedrooms suit one relocating employee or two colleagues sharing well, and a family of four adequately. Game Day Getaway-Downtown Orlando in Washington Shores is about 9 minutes away: four bedrooms, two bathrooms, blackout curtains in the bedrooms and a shaded lot under mature oaks, a home for a family, or for two or three staff on the same assignment. Amelia’s Arena Retreat on the Parramore edge of downtown and City and Stadium Sanctuary Vibes in Washington Shores both sit about 10 minutes from Truist's offices. Amelia’s Arena Retreat has a bedroom with its own attached bathroom, useful when two employees on the same relocation keep different schedules. City and Stadium Sanctuary Vibes is smaller, three bedrooms and one bathroom sleeping up to eight, with a carport under a live oak and a two-minute drive to Camping World Stadium, a fit for one employee or a compact team that does not need a second bathroom.
Holden Heights, Washington Shores and the Parramore edge of downtown are established residential neighborhoods rather than short-term rental clusters, so a relocating employee ends up on an ordinary street with neighbors instead of in a building full of other renters. Each of the four closest homes has been renovated or freshly updated inside, so the block's age does not carry over to the interior. For a solo relocation or a couple, Fruit Tree Home is plenty; a family of four or five, or two colleagues sharing, fits Game Day Getaway-Downtown Orlando's four bedrooms; Amelia’s Arena Retreat splits the difference with its ensuite bedroom for a manager traveling with an assistant or a second hire starting the same week; and City and Stadium Sanctuary Vibes suits one employee who does not need the extra space.
05Where the homes sit around downtown
The map places each home in its true compass direction from downtown Orlando, with its distance from the center standing in for drive time by road rather than miles. Amelia’s Arena Retreat sits inside downtown's own footprint in Parramore, and Fruit Tree Home is just south of the core in Holden Heights. Game Day Getaway-Downtown Orlando and the rest of the Washington Shores cluster sit west, out toward Camping World Stadium, and the Pine Hills, Rosemont and Lockhart homes spread northwest. Wekiwa Home, farthest out in Hiawassee, sits west of all of them.

- 9 Cozy Home 11 min
- 10 WinterPark Home 13 min

- 12 Downtown & Stadium Cozy Retreat 14 min
- 13 Wekiwa Home 17 min
Two homes in different directions can post a similar drive time, so pair the map with the neighborhood pages when you are choosing. Parramore and Holden Heights describe the downtown edge, Washington Shores covers the stadium side, and the northwest cluster is split across Pine Hills, Rosemont and Lockhart. Beyond those, the Head Avenue, Katherine, Entertainment, Londonderry and Cozy Houses fill out the northwest side of the map, and the Meet & Play, Piedmont, Sunset Lake and Wekiwa Houses fill out the rest of west Orlando further from the center. Holden Heights itself sits between Orange Blossom Trail and Orange Avenue, and Washington Shores wraps around Lake Mann and Sunset Lake, both calm, established blocks rather than a corridor of short-term rentals.
06The drive during the business day
The drive times here are typical road-routing times without traffic, and Orlando rush hours add to the longer routes on this list. From the Washington Shores and Parramore homes, the trip runs on SR-408 or I-4; from Holden Heights, the distance is short enough that surface streets can do the job on a light day.
SR-408 is a toll road, collected by transponder or by plate. For a relocation or a project that runs a month or more, a SunPass or E-PASS transponder is worth setting up in the first week; paying by plate works but costs more per trip.
Parking at the house is never the issue. Every home has a private driveway, carport or parking pad, so someone coming home after a late close or an evening client dinner pulls straight in instead of circling the block for street parking. Two SunRail stations, LYNX Central and Church Street, plus the free LYMMO bus, circulate the downtown core, an option for employees based at the Amelia or 25th Street House who want to leave the car parked some days; Game Day Getaway-Downtown Orlando and the rest of Washington Shores are a short drive from either stop rather than a walk.
Truist's Orlando presence runs beyond this one downtown location: retail branches, commercial banking and wealth offices are spread across Central Florida, with the downtown Orange Avenue offices as the anchor. If your role places you at a branch outside downtown, the northwest cluster around Pine Hills and Lockhart or the west-side cluster around Washington Shores may end up the shorter drive. Tell us the branch and we will point you to the closest home.
07For a banker or specialist relocating into a role
A relocation into a Truist role usually comes with a start date and a fixed window before the new hire needs somewhere permanent. A monthly agreement matched to that window is the core of what we do: a written agreement naming the home, the dates, the rate and the deposit, so a relocation coordinator or the new employee can plan around it instead of guessing at a lease. Itemized monthly receipts make it straightforward to process against a relocation package or a reimbursement. All four of the closest homes sit on ordinary residential streets rather than behind a hotel parking lot or along a highway frontage road, a few minutes' drive rather than a walk from Truist's offices.

The practical side matters as much as the paperwork. Every home comes with a stocked kitchen, so someone settling into a new city can cook rather than eat out every night while they learn the neighborhood. Wi-Fi is on from day one, bedrooms arrive furnished with made-up beds, and Game Day Getaway-Downtown Orlando adds blackout curtains for anyone still catching up on sleep after a cross-country move. Our relocation and long-stay page covers the wider settling-in checklist, and when the new hire is ready to sign a lease of their own, the agreement here ends cleanly at the end of the month.
08For a project team, a trainee cohort or a temporary assignment
A systems-integration project brings a small team in for weeks or months at a time, not a single employee, and a whole house often works out better than two or three hotel rooms. The four-bedroom Dollins House sleeps up to thirteen and Amelia’s Arena Retreat sleeps eight, so a small project team or a pair of colleagues on the same assignment can share one address, one kitchen and one monthly bill instead of splitting up across a hotel floor. Our corporate and business housing page covers whole-home stays for project teams and extended business travel more broadly.
A cohort of management trainees or new-graduate hires moves through Orlando on a training schedule with a known start and end date, which fits a monthly agreement cleanly. Commercial and wealth staff on a shorter temporary assignment, a few weeks rather than a full relocation, can book the same homes by the night or the week through each home's Airbnb or Vrbo listing instead of the monthly agreement, then step up to a monthly rate if the assignment extends. A trainee cohort that starts together often ends together too, which is where the monthly agreement helps: everyone's move-out date lines up with the training calendar, so there is no lingering month where only one bedroom in a shared house is still occupied.
Technology and operations staff on a systems project often want a desk that is not the kitchen table. The Head Avenue House, about 14 minutes from Truist's downtown offices, has a desk built into a bedroom for working from home. The Meet & Play House, about 12 minutes away, goes further: two of its bedrooms each have a desk and an office chair, useful when two people on the same project both need a workspace. Either home is a step up from the four closest to downtown if a laptop setup for the length of the project is part of the job.
09Billing for a company or a relocation
The agreement can be written to fit how Truist or its relocation vendor actually pays. We can put the company's name on the agreement with a monthly invoice and itemized receipts, or write it to the employee for a relocation reimbursement, whichever the paperwork on your end calls for. A W-9 and a certificate of insurance are available on request; Libema carries a commercial landlord liability policy.
Net-30 terms are available to an established company like Truist or its relocation or staffing vendor on a signed agreement or purchase order, with the first booking paid up front. Extensions run month by month at the same terms, so a project that stretches past its original end date does not mean renegotiating from scratch, just telling us early enough to hold the following month. Our guide on booking temporary housing for an employee lays out the rest of what a coordinator typically needs to have ready.
A relocation sometimes comes with a pet in tow. Several of the homes accept pets, and the policy and any pet deposit are confirmed in writing before you commit, the same way the monthly rate and the security deposit are. That keeps a family relocating for a Truist role from having to board a dog for a month while they house-hunt. Whether it is one employee or three colleagues sharing Game Day Getaway-Downtown Orlando on the same assignment, Truist or its vendor sees one monthly rate for the whole house, not a per-person charge added up room by room, which keeps a shared-assignment invoice simple to reconcile against a single project code or cost center.
10What's in the house
Every home comes furnished and ready from the first night, with the exact inclusions confirmed in writing when you book.
Exact inclusions vary a little by home and are confirmed in writing when you book.
None of the homes has a pool; they are residential houses, not a corporate apartment complex with shared amenities. Bed and bath counts are the counts in each home's own listing, and sofas are not counted as beds. Six of the thirteen homes publish a street address on the site, the 25th Street, Amelia and Dollins Houses among them; the other six publish a neighborhood and zip code and share the exact address at booking.
11Around downtown Orlando
Parramore and Holden Heights sit on the walkable side of the portfolio, covered in our downtown and close-in area guide. The Publix at The Paramount on Lake Eola is the compact grocery store you can reach without much of a drive from the Amelia or 25th Street House, and College Park's Edgewater Drive, a short hop north, is where Foxtail Coffee and Cups & Pups draw the after-work crowd. From Game Day Getaway-Downtown Orlando in Washington Shores, our west-side area guide points to Nikki's Place on South Orange Blossom Trail, which has served soul food since 1999, a few minutes from the stadium.

Parramore also borders Creative Village, home to UCF's and Valencia College's downtown campuses and the EA game studio, a short stretch from Amelia’s Arena Retreat. It is one more reason this corner of downtown stays occupied on a weekday even after the bank branches close for the evening. Downtown proper and Church Street cover the wider range from a quick lunch to a client dinner, close to Amelia’s Arena Retreat and a short drive from Fruit Tree Home.
Lake Eola Park downtown has a roughly one-mile sidewalk loop, swan boats to rent, and a Sunday farmers market, an easy after-work walk from the Amelia or 25th Street House on a light evening. The Downtown Orlando YMCA on North Mills Avenue is a full-service gym with two pools for anyone settling in for a month or more. From the Washington Shores side, Lake Lorna Doone Park by Camping World Stadium adds its own walking loop and outdoor fitness stations, a short drive from Game Day Getaway-Downtown Orlando.

14Common questions
Which homes are closest to downtown Orlando?
Fruit Tree Home in Holden Heights, Game Day Getaway-Downtown Orlando and Amelia’s Arena Retreat on the Parramore edge are the closest to the Orange Avenue business district. The table on this page lists the drive from every home.
Can the bank be the party on the agreement?
Yes. We write the monthly agreement in the company's name with itemized receipts, or in the employee's name for a relocation reimbursement.
Are you affiliated with Truist?
No. Libema Properties is an independent housing provider and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Truist.
How far are the four closest homes from Orlando International Airport?
By road without traffic, Amelia’s Arena Retreat is about 30 minutes from the airport, Game Day Getaway-Downtown Orlando and City and Stadium Sanctuary Vibes are about 29 each, and Fruit Tree Home is about 26. All four sit close to I-4 and SR-408, so the drive to the airport and the drive to Truist's downtown offices use much of the same route.
Can the rate and deposit be confirmed before an employee books a flight?
Yes. We do not publish rates online, but the monthly rate, the deposit and the pet policy are confirmed in writing as soon as you inquire, along with the exact dates and the home. That written agreement is what a relocation coordinator or a new hire typically needs before booking travel.
What happens if a project or a training program runs longer than planned?
Extensions run month by month at the same terms. Tell us as soon as an assignment looks like it will run past the original end date, and we will hold the following month at the house where we can, so the household does not have to move mid-project.
Is there parking for a company car or a rental while an employee is here?
Yes. Every home has private off-street parking, a driveway, a carport or a parking pad, so there is no street parking to hunt for. Fruit Tree Home, Game Day Getaway-Downtown Orlando and Amelia’s Arena Retreat all have a private concrete driveway, which fits a larger vehicle like a company SUV or a small moving truck without blocking a neighbor's mailbox.
Can a shorter assignment of just a few weeks book one of these homes?
Yes. Monthly stays are booked directly with us on a written agreement, but a shorter assignment can book the same homes by the night or the week through each home's Airbnb or Vrbo listing, then move to a monthly agreement if the assignment extends past the original weeks.
Do the homes near downtown have a real kitchen for someone working long hours?
Yes. Every home comes with a stocked kitchen: cookware, dishes and the basics for cooking a real meal, not just a microwave and a mini-fridge. For someone working long days at a downtown office, that means dinner at home is an option most nights instead of takeout every night.
